Bi-X: W203/CL203 OEM Bi-XENON Upgrade, Auto-Levelling & Programming thread
Sorry, I'm new here. I would like to order the Bi-xenon for the new C-class as well... This is the same exact set as used in the new C32, is it? How much is the price? And can I have it shipped to Asia (plus shipping costs covered)?
Please let me know, thank you very much!

Damned stealers!
i would like to get a pair of bi xenon headlights for my `02 c230k as well and wanted some info on the 10,000k h.i.d. lighting system with hella balasts that are sold online and if those are good or better than the factory bi xenon lights????
A headlight that is designed for a halogen bulb has a reflector and lens that work well together with that halogen bulb...putting in a xenon bulb results in a disorted lightpattern (although many people settle for that inferior lightpattern and don't really mind).

The official price for the Bi-Xenon headlamps is $945 USD per side.
Adding tax brings the grand total for both lamps to $2045.92.
Thanks for the savings Steve!
Does anyone who works for a dealer know how much the dealer pays for a set?

if you look at the link in my sig, my page shows alot of information about xenon lighting.
... I am just curious as to what bi-xenons do that separates them from other lights ...
They're almost CAD $1,500 as an option on the C230K. Xenons may last 5 times longer than halogens but that doesn't come close to repaying the price difference. The M-B brochure says cars equipped with bixenons run the low beams at full intensity for the daytime running lights so they're in use all the time.

I'm in Canada where drls are required. It's possible this equipment spec is different here than in places where drls aren't mandatory.

and my xenons.
