When my US Spec Sedan OEM Bi-Xenon's are pointed against a garage door, there is a very visible Yellow spot directly in the center top part of the beam pattern, in front of each headlight. See the picture below.
For all you Bi-Xenon owner's out there, is this normal???

That is normal, you will find that some will have a little more yellow than the other. This caused by the light hitting the edge of the shield with the housing design. If the shield's edge or surface has contaminant, you will either see yellow or a rainbow effect at the edge of the light cut off. With non bixenon, I found the trick is to slightly pull the shield torward the lights which would cause a more bluish light effect at the cut off edge, however I would not recommend doing this to the Bix since the shields are motorized.
My 2002 BMW 325Ci didn't have any spots at all like that.
At least the yellow hotspot isn't really visible to onlookers. My headlights still shimmer blue/purple.

The US Spec Bi-X have a horizontal line that goes across the center of the projector beam. Does the Euro spec have that line also?
I've read that Euro spec HID's are called ECE, and usually have better optics, sharper cutoff, and a wider beam pattern. Anyone want to trade?

HELP! Place in So Cal to set Xenon Present
Got shot down at House of Imports Buena Park by the Service Manager, Eddie Borluca.
He said that w/o the self leveling feature that House of Imports would not put in the xenon setting.
Anyone have a recommendation?

I have a call in to him....
Borluca was talking about not wanting to blind other drivers because the lights wouldn't be leveled. There was not convincing him. Never mind the lights have two self leveling screws, just didn't want to do it.
I have calls in to Long Beach, South Bay, and GULP!!! my next call will be to Fletcher Jones in Newport.
Problem is, I have no pull at the dealerships because I have self serviced my car for about the last 40k miles.

Damn, many sox gon get abuzed 2-nite.....
Splinter came over and helped out. We did it in about 2.25 hrs. No need to completely pull the bumper off.
No DIY, others have done it better than I could. Now, out to get the xenon present setting at 5:30!!!!

Wow!
I'm just truly floored by how cool the look of the lights are. It is a great looking blue type light. I feel like the lights really turn the look of the car into a newer Coupe.
Got to find a way to take a night drive tonight.

Well, I'll be testing them out tonight. Decided to do the drive to San Fran at night.
Took a long nap today, watched the Preakness, ate, and about to take off.
