Bi-X: W203/CL203 OEM Bi-XENON Upgrade, Auto-Levelling & Programming thread
Any idea...

I remember EuroPimp (MBenzNL) telling me once that when installing bix, the top of the headlight must be pushed towards the BACK and the bottom pulled towards the FRONT of the car, so that they're aiming slightly high. Then the beam can be adjusted downwards to the correct level.
A common mistake is for the lights be put in the wrong way (ie pointed too "low" initially), in which case you're going to try to RAISE the beam pattern. Once these lights pass a certain point, the adjustment rod pops out (inside the light) and... I'm assuming this is what happened.
Not all is lost though, it's just a loose part inside. It can be popped back in, but you just have to re-position the rod inside while turning the screw CLOCKWISE. It's not that hard if you know what's going on inside (just look inside), but hope you're mechnaically inclined. Also, it'll probably easiest if you take the lights out of the car and fix them on the kitchen table.

Thanks
I'm going to sell my 2001 c240... I am going to put the old headlights back in. I am going to most likely list them on eBay. I have 315 positive feedback with 99.7% positive rating. Before listing on eBay, I wanted to see how much you would be willing to offer. Or how much do you think I should sell them for. I bought them brand new about 2 years ago for $1200. They work great. These are the ones that MB makes, not the cheaper aftermarket stuff. Please e-mail me at jonishi56@gmail.com, as I do not check my PM's as often.
Maybe others can explain it alot better than me..
Oh and maybe I'll see your car around sometimes in Markham/Richmond Hill/North York area
. I know Powa(Henry?!) and SSG (Peter) too, we've met a few times now.

If you need help with your car/mods, LMK!. I'll try my best to help although my knowledge isn't even close to the experts in this forum/MBF.
