european spec bi-xenons?

I heard that the Euro spec bi-xenons are brighter and that the light pattern is better than the US spec bixenons. Anyone know if this is true? Do they look more on the blue spectrum?

I have the original Factory single xenon in my 2001 C320. I know for a fact that the xenon bulbs change the more you use them. When I first got mine it was hard to tell that I had xenons. Looked closer to Halogens but alot whiter... After 6 months of use I noticed that the bulbs changed to a bluer color and now after 2.5 years they stay blue. Just remember if you need to change a bulb it's better to do both at the same time or they won't match.

I need to use my xenon foglights more so they can catch up. They look a little whiter than my xenon headlights.

greetingz,
In this picture, what's the distance from your bumper to the wall?

What's the distance from the floor to the top of light cut off?

Thank you again.

w203 bi xenon headlights

i installed bi xenons to my cars, and there is a problem. how come the minute i starts up the car, the lights straight away lights up. even though the lights switch is on the off. is there anything i can do ? anyone have this experience ? i talked with the mercedes dealer, and they told me just to play around with the cluster setting. i tried to change things around, wether it's manual or automatic setting, it only affect the lights on the cluster, it has nothing to do with the headlamps. any suggestions ? i will appreciate it. Lastly, what is the offset of wheels of this car ? i bought 19 x 8.5 brabus mono v 2 piece, with an offset of 35mm, but i didn't fit, on the front. how come ?
thanks a lot..

It appears that you're car did not have xenons as an option when you got the car? I think you need to have the dealer program your car to "see" the xenons.

Lights

If you never had the Xenons, then the dealerdoes have to reset the computer to recognize the xenons as S4 mentions.

Also, I believe there is a setting to turn the lights on all the time in the lighting menu (day light driving lights) that you might want to play around with.

Try p. 127 of the manual under "controls in detail" - "setting daytime running lamp mode (USA Only)".

Lightbulb Want Bulbs for Bi-Xenon??

Hey check out these different bulbs for your bixenons. heres a comparison of 10,000k, 8,000k and the stock bulbs. the stock bulbs in this pic have a red tinge to it but you all with the bixenons know that they look kinda yellowish.

the 10000k bulbs are purplish. the 8000k bulbs are bluish and the stock ones (i think 4300k) are yellowish white.

other than the aesthetic aspect do they light up the road better? I've noticed with my bi xenons that i can't drive with them too long, either they blind me or they blind on-coming traffic.

personally, I'd rather keep my stock xenon bulbs. Only time I will do the 8k would be if I did the same with the foglights! so thats at least a 1.5 k upgrade! Otherwise it's going look weird with yellow city lights in the middle and yellow foglights at the bottom...with out stock, it's all 1 tone

The 10k ones illuminated the road best of all 3.

Wrong, the 10k are the worst of the three.
