Half hour labor is fair as many won't do it at all. If you were in for an A/B service they would probably do it for free but just bringing it in for that reason, they probably have minimum labor charges.

'03 Coupe won't do Bi-Xenon conversion, what is needed to make it happen on my car?
03 coupe wont to do the bi xeon coverion what is all need to make it happen on my carit a 03 coupe with the **** light in it now want the clear housing and the bi seons what is all need

your really bad at spelling first off i'm having trouble trying to understand what your asking... anyways i'm guessing you want clear bix in your coupe??? they are rare to come by just keep checking ebay or you can order them on some german website

Bi-Xenon lamps installation on Coupe! Help
I have a small problem. Well it's not really a problem.
My car (2005 Coupe) didn't come with Bi-Xenon lamps originally, however, I went ahead and bought them. The installation by itself is relatively easy, however, I know the computer needs to be reprogrammed.
Is it possible to do ONLY at the dealer or some experienced shop can do it. If it's the case, can you recommend any shops in NYC? If not, would any dealer do that reprogramming? How much would it cost?
And last question, would that void my warranty? I hope not since the parts ar OEM (used though)

You have caught me in a good mood, and feeling generous so:
You need a DAS machine to program you settings to Xenon Present. As Brabus was saying, there is a thread somewhere in here with the pics of the screen needed to put the correct setting in. It is a good idea to have when you get it set, because a tech may tell you they don't know how.
Some independent shops have the DAS. Look for specialized Mercedes repair places. You may have a tough time getting a dealer to do the work. I was told no by three different dealers after putting in my Bix.

And yeh, find those screen shots, or at least the sequence to set.

hey guys.. sorry to bump an old thread.
I already got a hold of my Bi-Xenon for about 4 years or so, but little do I know about the terminology of Bi-Xenon on W203. Does a Bi-Xenon Projector means that the hi-beam and lo-beam came out from 1 projector?
cause I noticed that my Projector only beam the lo-beam, but the hi-beam came from the inner lamp (not the projector).
and I also noticed that when I do hi-beam, there is a sound like 'click or tuck' on my headlamps.

p.s. yes, I have some degree of yellowish blob at the apex of
the horiz and base of the rise. it is indeed caused by refraction
at the focal point...in this case, the cutoff shield right below the
yellow blob

anyone selling OEM Bi-xenon headlights?
Im looking to buy a pair of OEM bi-xenons to replace my oem 06 clear headlights.
I believe steve is selling for 1350. but i'm looking to save some money. so if anyone is selling theirs please let me know the price.
and by the way can anyone offer advice on the whole installation process and who to look for to install the oem bi-xenons. Do i bring it to the dealerships?
