For those wondering, I confirmed with my local parts department at the Mercedes dealership these OEM BiX will fit up to early production 2007 C class. Early production includes production up to 11/2006. Production after 11/2006 has different lights (part number).

Just a thought... what you guys reckon...
Thinking of modding my BiX's a bit... wanting to spray the backing black and possibly change the shrouds/bezels (if they fit):

What you guys think... worth the try or just leave as is... Also looking at changing the bulbs to 5000K ones... anyone able to suggest a good replacement bulb

Hi Mr. Ruck... been through the thread aswell as the DTB Igniter replacement pdf and just a bit confused as to which repair kit I need to get, seems there are 2 kits for the W203 and don't wanna get the wrong one...
On the 2nd page of the .pdf doc, they mention 2 W203 models:

I believe you require A203 545 57 28 - The sedan lights are made by Automotive Lighting in the Czech Republic.
I believe the Hella lights are fitted to the Coupe

Hi guys I need your help, Im planning to change my headlight to Bi-Xenon, but unfortunately, the socket of the newly purchased OEM Bi-Xenon Headlight hasa only 1 Socket, and mine has 3 sockets, . I purchased the Item through Ebay, . what can I do ?

first you can get bix out of any w203 not just c32. second you should add your location so that we can tell you where to look. try the classifieds section or ebay. i got mine off ebay but i purchased them separately for about 450 total.

i'm surprised that's how they come up with the fix tho. a stupid looking cover with the igniter taped on it. lol

Samaritrey i live in NYC i would like to get OEM. I searched Ebay and Craigslist but i only seem to find Aftermarket ones or only 1 headlight. I need the Headlight, the bulb and the ballast, Im looking to find a pair of these........

yasmin212 if you are still around i just saw your post. you dont have to find them as a pair. i got a way better price buying them separate. like i said before as a set they go for like 800 i got mine for less than 450. it took about a week between buying them and i had to get bulbs for both. i would think that even if i got a set i would still get new bulbs because the bix are getting older now and if it has the + bulbs as mine did they dont just die one day they start flickering and causing problems. i got a new set of the Philips + ones for like 50 off of ebay.

Hey guys, i recently purchased myself a set of bi-x headlights from a 2005 w203 c200
and fitted them to my 2001 w203 c200.
Installed them myself and both worked when I turned the car to accesories on
but then as soon as I turned the car On they flicked off with the error messages.
took it to MB dealer next day and had them set xenon=present.
No problem there. but since they set that setting, the left headlight does not turn on AT ALL!
Any idea what could of caused that?
just bad luck and timing something happened to the left headlight the same time a program setting was set?
are the 2005 bi-x meant to work fine in a 2001?
and fitted them to my 2001 w203 c200.

If they do swap the bulbs and see if that works. If that doesn't work, try swapping the ballast.

do what c24owner said that is the best way of diagnosing. as i said in my last post i would replace the bulbs anyway though because i bet they are from 2005 and you have no clue how many hours are on them. also make sure you align the lights so you don't blind anyone. i would recommend buying Philips d2s 85122+ because they stay brighter longer then the plain 85122 which shift. but if you want blue the 85122 are better for that.
