Were can I go to get the mirror blinkers changed to white? Is it expensive to change those bulbs? Can someone please give some help? If it matters I live in NYC. Is there a place there that can be recommened

This mod has been extensively discussed... Please do a search on "mirror blinkers" or "W203 blinkers", etc.

I personally don't like the look of the ones shown in the thread submitted by BigSis and lean more towards the ones on the new E-Series (and which will fit your car).

I've personally done this mod. It costs ~$40.00 for the parts purchased at the dealer and ~20 minutes to install ... it's a no brainer and the threads you'll find will have MB part numbers and installation pictures. By the way the new lights are white LED's that blink yellow.

personally id go with the W211 indicators. they are white when they are off and look alot better than 01-04 and 05 indicators.

there is no way just to take off the strip and replace the light? Not replace the mirrors.

u can get w211 blinkers from the dealer...

replace the strip with the W211 blinkers. they look great especially if you have BIX lights. they really go well. honestly LED's that blink white wont look right.

You will not be replacing the mirror, just the light strip within the housing. You need to remove the housing to get to the strip. You can get and '05 setup, or the ones that Citron has pictured. There are 2 screws that hold the strip into the housing. Do a search for the thread about removal of the housing. I think that SAPRISSA posted pix on his installation.

you can get them from you dealer. about $75 for the pair. all you need are the indicators. they are a direct replacement in the mirror housing. you will need to modify the plug froma 4 pin to 2 pin in order for it to work. the 211 blinkers come with a bulb for the puddle light which needs to be removed. then take a 2 pin female jumper and splice it onto the remaining 2 wires. then it plugs into the 2 pics int he mirrors hhousing. make sure you get the polarities right, if they dont work the first time, unplug and plug in the opposite of how you did the first time.

if you want the LED's to blink white, you will need to open up the strips, de-solder all the LED's and re-solder, white blinking ones. its not the hard if you know how to solder. though im not sure how easy it would be to open the indicator strips to gain access to the LED's.

personaly I'd go w/ the 05 203 LED blinker, but that's just me. they are also cheaper than the E-class one too w/ no modification needed.
