Auto door unlocking is SO COOL!
So I was driving on the highway going around 140 Km/h with my friend. All of a sudden he told me we should take the next exit.
On the street, there are those ball like thingy. I'm not sure what they're called.... but they're used instead of pavement to split the exit from the highway...
anyways, i turned fast trying to enter, I realized I cant do it and had to let two wheels out on the street and two wheels inside and the ***** in bitween. But I was going to fast, never did such a manouver before (i see many people do it i thought its easy). all of a sudden i drove over those white things.
All of a sudden a very very very loud sound started coming from the left wheels. I thought I lost the tires and the wheels. Just when I drove off them the doors were unlocked (while I'm still driving). And the brake felt stronger... even after turn off the engine and on again. the brakes were too strong!! Now they're back to normal.

Either way, auto-unlock IS cool IMO... in the event of an accident it's the difference between getting messed up after-the-fact because somebody can't open the door, getting a face-full of glass from somebody breaking the window, or walking out of the car.

the doors auto unlock in the event the car flips over automatically. There is a mercury switch to detect this. When you did your "thing" it may have tripped the switch in thinking the car flipped over.

Also if it sees a door switch as open, it will unlock.
Mine used to do that just driving down the road.
They replaced thedrivers side door switch, like the one that turns on the interior lights and all. Same switches.
So vibration may have rattled one of those.

I have experienced auto unlocking also, if you take a curve really fast this will trick the system into unlocking the doors. Great safety feature!

It must have been a hell of a ride and doing that speed and trying to make an exit ? Damm, what were you thinking, or better yet, WHY WEREN'T YOU THINKING ?
I'm glad they open automatically. You can see on the news all the cars that have to have their windows broken because the person inside is knocked out and can't unlock the doors.
