So save the "BUSHING" to yourselves and get a C55!
C55 doesn't come with a manual tranny - no fun. MB loses a lot of potential buyers to BMW and Audi as a result.

That looks like a Panasonic 4-line phone, probably the most amount of lines you can get on a consumer phone. If the owner of that phone has a serious business then they should consider the comercial Panasonic phone system with more sophisticated features. Something along these lines would be more appropriate for both Evosport and Autowerks -

You can but nobody has done it before. I think because the pulley would cost more than the phone. Imagine paying more for a pulley than your C230, not many would do it. Besides, it would void your phone warranty.

Yes, but think how fast you could dial....

There needs to be more talk of progress, and the doubters will faid away. It was the same in the past with Buellwinkles various endeavours. Always the 'don't break it crowd', or the "my benz is too good for your hacked engineering" or the " Anything but my overpriced AMG is a POS" popped up for your entertainment.

Anyone that thinks the M271 is the same as M111 is a fool. People who dont appreciate the difference dont automatically deserve the right to capitalise on the past achievements of M111 solutions.

faid ?

All this hyper-talk doesnt resolve REAL fundamental problems. These mods are driven by fast profits not improvements to motoring. The bar is set very high and so it should be.

Wasn't that call made when you crossed the border to get more first hand info on this mod. Isn't evosport nice to let him use the phone.

Hey all, sorry for the delay in posting. Vadim has asked me to post some formalities about the price and initial ordering of these kits.

So here is what we are going to do for the MBWorld community. We are going to do the first 10 kits we make ONLY to MBWorld members and do them at $999.00 vs. the retail of $1199.00-1299.00 that we will sell them at after the MBWorld exclusive special!

So I know that there are many interested, so here is how I would like to proceed.

1. send an e-mail to brad@evosport.com
2. make sure the subject says "MBWorld M271 Pulley Deal"
3. Give me your complete shipping, billing and payment information

Or you can call me at 714.901.3100 x15

I will keep a list of the 10 members who jump, and the deal will expire on the 10th sale.

Thanks for all the interest and continued support.

Brad

I sent an email to Brad. I'm willing to sign up and take the risk on the gains (since 10 hp should be possible, and $1K of risk is worth 10hp to me).

I just wanted for information about the software package. I'm assuming the initial offering for $999 is ODPS only, yet for those of us not in Socal, if we want the software upgrade later (or if its included in this initial deal) how do we get it, and how much will it be?

Taylor,

Pulley specific software WILL be developed with our software partner Powerchip (who better, right????). Currently we will have to have the customer the send us an ECU for flash. However, in the not too distant future (read 6 months or so), we will be able to install the software remotely without you having to send in your ECU. So for those that want the pulley deal now, they can rest assured that we will have a great ECU upgrade soon also.

Thanks

Brad

Sounds great Brad, now justb clarify one thing:

Does the $999 initial offering include the software upgrade or not? Regardless, I will want just the ODPS and install the software later when its convienent (I'm not sending my ECU! I need my car! )

Thanks,
Taylor

Taylor,

The initial offering is for the Pulley kit only. We will offer the ECU upgrade as well however. Powerchip will be developing this with us as always!

You will not have to send us your ECU for this upgrade in the near future (6 months or so).

thanks

Brad
