Wiper blade refills NO MORE...you must purchase entire arm assembly...SUCKS!
My local dealer, MB of Knoxville TN, told me today they can no longer order wiper blade refills. You have to purchase the entire arm assembly. Are they feeding me a line of bull or what? I put up a fight and made them make a few calls in front of me. In all fairness, they could have dialed the local Burger King, but they "confirmed" that for me. MB will no longer sell blades, I assume for all MB's but maybe just C240's. Who knows.
$80 later, I have new wiper blades and arms.
Can anyone else confirm this? Anyone know a place to get just the rubber blades??

MB used to replace them on Flex B but supposedly they aren't covered any more (or at least on MY2003). I complained loud enough and got them to do it as a goodwill gesture.
Hope this helps.

Can't you buy generic re-fills from any autoparts store? I'm gonna do this next time as well. Like you, I got raped when I asked them to change my wipers for me. I thought they'd be doing the inserts only. Turned out they did the whole thing... for 60 bucks.

I had one that was defective from the factory, the car was only 2 months old and they wouldn't replace it under warranty and if I wanted a new one it was $40 and I would have to order it. Took me about an hour but I finally got it back together but I don't look forward to spending $80 just for wiper blades. Are aftermarket blades available?

If I had a 2 month old Benz and the dealer wouldn't replace the blades, MBUSA and or the local field rep would hate to get my phone call.

Buellwinkle,
Do you have the new style blades? Trico has the Innovision wiper blades that look like the new style of MB blades, cost under $15 each. They are far superior to the stock MB blades. During this last 15 days of storms in La LA Land, I had the MB on the passenger side and the Trico in front of me. The Trico cleared off the water as they say MO BETTER.
I usually use Rain off to help, but did not have a chance to put on before the last round of storms. Will treat with Rain off now and put the other trico on soon.

I had the same experience
Hi there,
When I popped in my dealer to replace blades last December, I had to wait a long time. The guys there seemed to be very confused finding which parts they had to take from the warehouse. They were even trying to check if the parts fit right with my car.
After a long while, they come to me telling that they were no longer provided with refills and it would cost much more. I simply accepted although I was not fully convinced. Off goes more money every year.

Just had my Service B done 2 days ago (check my other unsatisfy post https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/94740-dealer-visit-might-make-ur-car-unsafe.html ) and they did replaced my blades (new 05 style) for free.

What's double bad about having the streaks is that the rain sensor doesn't clear properly and the wipers keep going even in a fine drizzle. I like the non-automatic wipers of my 2002 better.

I just went to the local Autozone spent $20 on some Bosch Wipers and put them on my self! Not much to it took about 5 minutes to do and I saved myself about $60. Wipers are Wipers!

For 06 C55, web search is turning up Valeo 900-22-6B as OEM replacement. Prices are in the $15-30 range per wiper.

Old thread. But for anyone reading this the OEM Aero wipers on the 2004.5+ cars are made by SWF (according to my sources) and you can purchase them from a site like rmeuropean.com for about $18 per side.

Out Of Control!!
Not sure why anyone would buy OEM refills at this point when aftermarkets are cheaper and look the same. I got Trico NeoForms last week and put them on Saturday.
