Audio 10 opinions

I know there are many opinions out there from the searches I have done. Just wanted to get opinions from people who actually have had the time to experience both sides. I just ordered mine from Germany through my bro in Belgium. Gonna take a chance. Worst case senario I try it and resell if I don't like it.
Has anyone replaced the built-in sub that u can see through the truck witha better one? I wanted more bass without putting an separate sub.
Has anyone put in any other after market radio that looks good in the c class, close to the factory look?

I replaced my Audio 10 with Comand and I can tell you that the Audio 10 sounded better and Comand sounds better than the cassette radio. If you are going to switch, get Comand, it looks cool and once in a while it does come in handy.

i love the audio10. the only reason i got rid of it was because of Navi. otherwise i would have kept it. i installed mine the day after i took delivery of my car. definately worth the money IMO.

Well I just odered one. I hope it is everything I am hoping for. I have the stock cassette which I don't even use so as long as it works and sounds better I will be happy. I will probably get rid of my changer if this works out.

The OEM issue for my 99 E320 was Audio 30. Easiest and cheapest way to
play music CDs was with the OEM fiber changer (either MC 3010 or MC 3198).
I didn' t like the trip to the trunk so I swapped my HU out for the Audio 10.
Now I can have on-the-fly CD swaps...and continue to use trunk CD changer.
I gave up: playing audio cassettes, the integrated mobile phone with
front panel dialing, random access channel presets
Audio 10 has FM program decode display, shortwave band (no big),
sequential access program preset. FM was still good, AM is so so.
Still no AUX IN, nor MP3 playback.
