W204 Pics From MB headquarters Montvale, NJ

I'm surprised that they didn't have 2 or 3 out there. This car needs some bigger wheels or a body kit. I wasn't impressed. Needless to say, I wont be getting a w204.

Man, that's not really that great of a color for the new C. I *hate* the new side view mirrors (I know, it's required...still they are butt ugly!).

That thing seriously needs bigger wheels and lowering kit.

Do know by any chance what sizes does it come with the car in that pic??

In the third pic (side view), the front end looks very blunt-nose'ish. Anyone notice the itty bitty wipers on the car? These are the ones that come with the car, and then the dealer installs the normal sized ones. Definitely not a fan of the W204, but great job on the pics. Great detail and closeups !!

Thanks for posting.

-much stronger line than a w203.
-looks like an A4 from the side.
-the side mirrors... why the big clear lense?
-nice dual exhaust

I am sure the decked out model is better than this base red w204

Very nice pics spoonie!

Yes, where are the LED's? I hope they don't make it only for the C350 and screw the C300...No LED's looks bad and very Camry.

I hate the wheels, and cringe whenever I see a red MB, it looks terrible in that color. Maybe the SLK but that's it.

That body is going to be popular, I think it is quite handsome. What percentage of w202 owners dislike the w203

it looks nice to me, except for the extra large orange signal lights. I don't like the shape, they look odd and out of place.

This car does have the "sport" body styling, the wheels however are on the small side.

Thanks for taking and posting these pics!

It looks like those who don't like the amber front bumper lenses will eventually be able to replace them with clear or painted ones; an option not available on most newer cars because those markers are integrated into the headlamp units.

I understand that the engines in the W204's are to be farther back than in the W203's; which would help explain what looks like a shorter overhang over the front tires.

I like the angled body crease along the side of the car, just under the door handles. It gives the side of the car a nice shape and proportional look.

Not a fan of the aluminum outline around the windows and doorsills.
And, don't those side view mirrors look noisy?

The body style looks like the 'sport' verision, but the wheels and tires sure don't.

I think that the blunt-nose look has something to do with the EU pedestrian safety regulations. Angled front ends are a thing of the past. Look at the Audi A5, same thing. So far this really only effects European cars but the look is less than desirable IMO.

No Problem. I went there again today with my "Better" Camera, but all they had was the same red car. They had the entrance that I went through chained off so they must have gotten wind of these pics. Funny thing about it is that I did the same thing with the W203 7 years ago and posted the pics on this very site.

One with 4 wheels
Aww man, they got rid of the "hood intake grill" thing that sits on the hood on 203's, as well as a lot of the chrome trimming.

What'd they do, get rid of ALL the good details from the 203, and made the 204 a German version of a Toyota Camry?

Hell, at least the Brabus version is effin sweet. The regular ones....eh...

I remember Volvo bragging about the XC90 having a "Pedestrian Protection" that fit the EU regulations, but damn it doesn't look nearly as bad as this C. I think the car has potential, they just need to fix up some stuff.

The wipers are just ones they throw on the car from the manufacturer, used just if needed during transportation. Just like you see a lot of cars being transported on the car carrier without hubcaps. The real wipers (and hubcaps....for all those base model US/Korean/Japanese cars) get installed at the dealership upon arrival. Why?

Why are the funny-looking side mirrors "required"? What feature specifically is required, and is this US or European law?
