Got to play with the W204 tonight...
What a beautiful car, inside and out. I was cruising by House of Imports in Buena Park and thought to myself "Maybe they have the C-Class" and sure enough they did. I was allowed to test drive it. It was a little sluggish since I'm so accustomed to having a sprint booster. But the 7-speed shifted gears effortlessly. I got some pics, but my camera was on the verge of dying so I snapped only a couple. Overall, I'm impressed even though my car felt quicker

2003 C230K Coupe Orion Blue
For some reason I keep seeing a robot face in the centre console.
centre vents - eyes
hazard button - nose
CD slot - mouth
on/off button - bump on chin (like Bill Clinton)
Gotta lay off the crack ><

Love how it drives, but after a year and a half of staring at it, the design hasn't aged well. Looks much too boring and porky for my tastes. But, I didn't much care for the looks when I bought it either. Just really liked how it drove.

I'm 100% sure I'm wrong. The guy was telling me things while I was driving. My focus was on the car
I'm sure he meant the cars are starting at $32,000. Sorry for getting your hopes up

Looking to buy a Benz
You guys are so lucky there in the USA. All the cars are much more affordable there than here in Northern Europe.
The new C Class is my dream car at the moment. Why a dream? Well, let me check the prices.
Here a bone stock C 300 is 74k US dollars.
C 350 with Comand, pano roof and AMG sports kit (inc. side skirt + AMG wheels) is 115k US dollars.
Our lowest priced new C class is 180 Kompressor at 61k US dollars. (That's bone stock and pumps out 156 bhp.)
(Currencies converted from euros to US dollars using 1.38 as an exchange rate).
That's correct. And the salaries here are not any better than yours in general. But one day I might be able to afford a brand new Benz. One day.

I went and looked at one, in gray of course. And I have to say it's a nice and tidy looking car, but the profile to me is kind of ugly. The rear lights tuck in too far with big cut off, and the front blunt nose with the corner lights slightly exposed scream funky.
The front at an angle and the back head on looks really nice though.
I really like the interior. The black headliner. I like it better than the sedan Audi's to be honest.. Audi has too many complicated controls.
