My dealer in West Chester, Ohio got their 1st C300 Sport yesterday. They can't sell it yet, but they let me sit inside it. Sorry I don't have any pictures to share as I didn't have my camera with me. Here are my 1st impressions...
I have been anxiously waiting to see the new C-Class in person. From the 1st pictures I saw, I thought it was ugly and looked more like a Chrysler Sebring than a Mercedes. After I saw it in person today, my thoughts on the car have changed dramatically.
The car looks amazing on the outside, nothing like a Chrysler Sebring. It will definately draw a lot of attention. I wish I could say the same about the interior. The interior is VERY plasticy and looks cheap. It does not feel like a MB inside. There are some cool things about the interior, like the pop up display and a few other tweaks.
I definately wouldn't mind owning a W204, but I think I will wait until at least 2009, maybe even 2010, that way I can avoid the new model bugs.

I stopped in Atlanta Classic Cars in Duluth, GA today to look at the C300 demo. I had the same impressions on the exterior...very sharp looking. I was actually impressed with the interior...it looks much better in person than in the photos i've seen online. Granted, it's not as nice as the S-Class or the E-Class, and it is a lot of plastic, but I thought it was well executed. I didn't have a chance to drive it, but I hope to stop in at a later date for a test drive.Originally Posted by XenonBenz

MBSF has C300 on display, was able to test drive it yesterday. If you're in the Bay Area, stop by MBSF.Originally Posted by amgme

I'm positive Smythe has one; they've already offered to drive one over for me to inspect.

I'm gonna check it out then, I was suppose to go to Smythe last night to check out the 2004 S55 they have going for $59K which I saw on the MBUSA.Com website, but had to work late so I might head up there later today. I'm hoping if they can bring the price down and room for negotiation. Ok sorry, Im going off topic here. I'm gonna see if they have the new W204 C-Class on display Originally Posted by patrick_y

I said that they had one that they would drive over to my home or office for my inspection and test drive should I wished to do so. Originally Posted by JRAMGV8

This may differ from the one that they have on display.
From what I've gathered from this forum, most dealerships are only blessed with one car. Some dealerships have them available for test drives, others apparently have them for private test drives where they drive the car to you. Since they only have one, the car can't be at two places at once. It might not be in their showroom.

Wow that C350 looks awesome.

I like those 6-double spoke wheels that Nadal has on his white C350, better than the 5-double spoke AMG wheels on all of the demo cars IMO.

I was in Autobahn this morning and they have a silver grey C300 sport for demo. Looks pretty nice but I am not feeling the heavy plasticky dash.Originally Posted by JRAMGV8
