dash display in km/h
not sure if this has been mentioned before --
goto Instrument Cluster
and for the Permenant Display, change the Outside Temperature to Speed
You will see that the Speed is displayed in KM/H, not MPH.
Dont think that can be changed to MPH (?)
At least now the car "seems" to be going faster during traffic jam

I normally have the digital speedo on KPH, as with the analogue one. But when I go to the US, then I plan to change the option and have the digital speedo show MPH. Entirely changeable by the menu items.
So, the Canadian cars can show both KPH and MPH. And the American cars can show both MPH and KPH. Simple enough?

However, the little speedometer under the Permenant Display (that can be toggled between Outside Temperature and the speed) cannot. At least I have not seen the option to change it yet

You can change what is displayed in the permanent display area, but I don't think you can switch between imperial and metric down there.
OT: I love changing the speedo of the rental Pontiacs to metric and scared my co-workers when I visit the US. And I leave it on metric for the car return to confuse the lot attendees. What can I say, traveling for work sucks and you need to have fun whenever you can.

I also need some help with this. I changed the settings from MPH to Km/h on the dash menu/settings, but the current speed is still displayed in MPH, the only thing that changed is the MPG, Miles to empty, etc. to km/litters.
From what I have read, it seems that some of you have been able to change the current speed from mph to km/h (i'm talking about the main one in the middle of the screen, not the little one below, which is always in km/h). If so, could someone please walk me through it? Thanks.

Navigate to Setting > Speedometer > Toggle that over to KPH
Then you can change to "Permanent Display" to Speedometer as well, which will show in your selected measurement system.

Disclaimer: Canadian vehicle (as it is starting to sound like there are significant differences between the CA and US cars).
Navigate to Setting > Speedometer > Toggle that over to KPH

If there is a diff between Canadian and US, that is another example Americans get screwed... no memory seats, no Keyless Go and now have to endure a metric system on the perm display. Well you better get used to it.
MBUSA is on a mission to get back to JD Power. It is now back in top 5 but maybe Lieb wants more. So maybe you should swallow the pride and stop complaining. Once MB gets back to the top then you can have your wish list and all the gadgets back in your cars.

I tried this, and it changes everything to Km, except the current speed.
I can toggle the permanent display (which is the small one below) between Km/h and temp (this is always in km/h); but i haven't been able to change the the main one. I' afraid that if I go to the dealer they would take the easy way out and tell me that it is not possible. Any ideas?
