National Treasures 2 Scene

Did any of you guys get to see National Treasures 2? What did you think about the c350 scene? It was a very proud moment for me. I wish my C had backup camera like it did in the movie though.

Yup, I felt the same way as you. Btw, it was a C280 (C300 in U.S) although the rims are that of the C350 here.

Loved it... clinched up when shots hit the back window. I love how you could almost feel everyone in theater take a deep breath when the MM screen popped up lol.

I was in a theater full of Mercedes owners at the invitation of the local dealer. Everyone was moaning when the car was shot at and dented. No one was surprised by the MM, though.

Good movie and an even better car. Funny you guys mention the MM screen, the folks in my theater also were awed by it.

2008 C300 4matic MM Premium II
I loved how the cameras were aimed at a certain angle to highlight the car's features....I also noticed they kept they kept the camera on the car for longer periods of times between clips. Almost like a commercial lol

Just watched the movie earlier today. The W204 looked so hot and intimidating!
Certainly sending good vibes about the car. Can't wait to see the C63 in person which will look even meaner.
Later on in the movie came out the GL which was unstopabble as well.

The C280 scenes were really great, but i got depressed when the were using the rearview camera since we cant get it in the US. Loved how it completely owned that Range Rover, especially with the GL showing off its abilities later in the movie.

I did not like how the made it look like the range rover could keep up. There was a scene where they were on a bridge and they were all three in a row and even the keg truck was gaining on them, I thought that was rather stupid because it would not have happened nor would either be able to do the maneuvers at the simulated speeds. BUT when that beautiful car took that sharp turn and drifted into the side of that truck, you knew from then on out the car was going to only get worse. lol

FAVORITE PART WITH THE GL was the escape from the library when that blockade coming from the ground shot the rear in the air.

Just watched the movie tonight with my wife and she was impressed when the MM popped up. She commented on how the car looked so good with Palladium Silver. Pssst....little does she know that I already ordered the C350 with premium package w/ NAV, pano roof, 18" AMG wheels in Palladium Silver and Grey interior.

I got a big kick when the GL ran through the barriers!
