Speaking for California only-
CVC 24953(a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.
CVC 25106(a) Any motor vehicle may be equipped with lighted white or amber cowl or fender lamps on the front.
If you get a ticket for a minor lighting violation while driving a late model MB it's for attitude, not equipment.

To Derspeed & Crowd....
I was trolling around EBay and to my surprise I found the clear bumper markers! 1 set w/ silver bulbs. Shipping is $12 The whole package is most defiantly Derspeeds. The pictures were Derspeeds too. Im real psyched that I got them I bought them immediatly. Then I started to wonder, did this guy just rip the pics off of our board? Wouldn't Derspeed have told us if his seller was ready to distribute these? Wouldn't there be more available on EBay? Who knows, either way, I figured I'd take a shot. Hopefully this is Derspeed's guy and he is legit. here is the link to the auction I purchased. Derspeed, if you can confirm this is your guy I'd appreciate it. WTF. This isn't the guy I bought mine from, unless he uses two names. He gave me a 2 -4 week timeframe. I will send him the link. I don't think someone can use my pics w/out authoriztion. I emailed him and asked who gave him permission to use my pics. I know someone who almost lost his a$$ for using photos on eBay without authorization.

I emailed my guy. I don't know if he'll respond soon. I also asked your guy who gave him permission to use my pics. The lenses in your link look like the ones I have. Who knows? Hopefully I'll find out Monday. It's funny how the aftermarket stuff for this car comes out all at once. I wish companies were rushing to make a damn set of proper dampers.

The picture he has on the auction with the two lenses together, that isn't a pic you took right? Is it possible he photoshop'd it or do you think he really has the same product your guy has? I'm nervous now.

I am sure he's legit, he just used a photo of my car without authorization. It kinda pisses me off, but MB world is a public forum. I'd like artisic credit though. I mean, my business is going to rely heavily on my artisitic ability. My question is, how did he know to look here? Anyway, the photo with just the markers is his. I see no trace of my photo in there. I know some folks are really good @ p-shop, but I'm sure those are his pics. He has a lot of feedback. you'll be okay. I trust eBay. I just never purchase or answer questions via my own email. I always sign on to eBay for that.

I have a black c300 would the borders of the clear lens be white? from the looks of it the border is trimmed with white backing? may look a bit funny against a black car.

The border is actually the housing showing through. He is going to offer smoked, so it may be less evident. In my opinion, anything looks better than the amber stockies. It's funny that so many peole comment on the border. In person it's not really noticeable.

It might not be the same person that Derspeed got his from but possibly this person got it from the same manufacturer/supplier. With the way the auto accessory industry is, it's only a matter of time before these things get whored out.

I'd get in on a group buy. I might prefer smoked though. My C350 is Steel Grey. Anybody have an opinion on smoked or clear for Steel Grey?

I would prefer the smoked version but clears ok with me too. Anything beats the sore thumb stockies.
