Shoot, just ordered some for my bro's C350. His car is steel grey metalic, so we went with the smoke lens. Are you unsat with the product? Please post pixs when you finally install.

Wasn't inconsistent on mine. Parts are cheap cause it's plastic, but the original MB one is also cheap plastic, so not really a drop off.

after seeing the smoked and the clear ones, im thinking about just painting mine silver. (my car is silver) i just dont think the clear/smoked would look all that good on a silver car. i like the clear on white tho, that looks really good.

I got the smoked ones in today. Definitely look great on a Palladium Silver C. The only gripe is that the side markers are about a mm off flush with the bumper (noticeable only to a trained eye).

I'd still recommend them without reservation.

Nope. Still have the OEM bulbs. I don't plan on changing them until they burn out (I'm trying to resist the get-as-white-as-possible-bulbs-revolution)

Thanks for the compliment!

Take the plunge mate and be the first to show them on your Black C! It took only a few days to ship to me and the price was reasonable. Definitely transforms the look of the car along with the blacked out grille.

Just do it. No matter what color or version you get, it'll look 10x better than the stock orange.

Great match on your car, the smoked looks perfect on the silver.

The only thing keeping me from ordering a set is the white looking border on the smoked lens. Mine are covered by a smoked overlay now and basically disapear on the black when not on.

There are lots on bulbs on there. Search Ebay Motors for "chrome amber".

Rick Hunter: The smoked looks as good on yours as the clears look on the white cars. Your eyes roll right over them.

BTW, I heard the latest seller's (not the guy I used) version looks cheap. Like a child hand painted the housings. Is that the consensus?

Hmmm... I'm fine with the ones I bought. They definitely don't look cheaply manufactured (or at the least not like you've described). $46 ain't cheap, but it's just plastic.

The smoked side markers are essentially clear plastic fronts over black plastic inner housings. The reason why they don't look as black as they are is because of the ripples in the clear plastic that bounces the light off of it.

Now there's two sellers on eBay selling the side markers, the newest one using pics of Derspeed's car in his description.

I received my clear side markers from the original eBay seller and they look just fine. I'm hoping to receive my silvered yellow 195 bulbs any day now and will be installing them along with my tinted rear tail lights very soon. I can't wait and will post pics when it's done!

these look a lot better than mine. see the border on these? mine is unevenly glued and in some places is frosted white because of space between where the pieces are supposed to be stuck glue has bubbled up in there.

I think on a black car, smoked will look real nice. I kinda wish I had a black car so I could have smoked lenses... but then clears look nice on Arctic White, so I'mma go with that. Heh.
