I received my clear side markers from the original eBay seller and they look just fine. I'm hoping to receive my silvered yellow 195 bulbs any day now and will be installing them along with my tinted rear tail lights very soon. I can't wait and will post pics when it's done!
Actually, the seller using my car was the original guy. I had the first set and allowed him to use my car for his ad. Another member got a second set from him, then the seller you got yours from listed a bunch of them.

I'd still recommend them without reservation.

Update: Went to wash the car today and that hairline gap allowed some moisture between the cover edge and the bumper. Was not a big deal though... after about an hour it dried up. While washing, I also intentionally sprayed the gap area to see if it would induce any condensation inside the marker cover. Happily there was none at all (i.e. the glue holding the exterior cover to the housing had no gaps).

I'll continue to monitor with subsequent washings. For now... still got my thumbs up

the silver and black painted edges are a bit inconsistant on mine, but not really noticable from 10 feet away. I can't tell if there are any gaps in the seams to allow moisture to seep through, but I'll definately squeeze a bead of clear silicone caulking into the seam just in case.

I just receive my silvered bulbs yesterday -- the light color is actually yellow, not amber, so it should have a much crisper and cleaner look without going with white. I'm planning on installing the side markers along with the LED license plate lights this weekend.

More than likely it won't come off immediately when you push the clip down. It's not a matter of pushing hard enough, it's just a matter of alignment. Keep the clip pressed down and wiggle the lens housing from the front. Eventually it'll slide right off when you get it just right.
