Tired of Stories Whos really added more hp to their car POST YOUR Thoughts HERE
ok, regarding what you're asking, I did get my ECU update and without doing an actual dyno, I can tell you that it does "feel" more power. The throttle lag is pretty much non-existent and from the limited sample size I've taken thus far, I am getting 10-15% better MPG. FrankW has done the same ECU tune through SI and has said he put it up on a dyno and did see gains. When I do have a chance, I'll put it up also and post hard numbers.

if you want more power,,,,,, why not get a Dodge viper, why not get airplane? does that make sense to you?
Now the C350 is what, 268 hp? So people still going crazy to get it up to 280...
It's all a stupid chase because 280 or 300 or 350hp is still going to be chumped by a C63 or a Viper or.. something else.

I think moderation is ok. If you spend $500 and get like 15-20HP, that's not bad. I think it's people that spend $5000 to 8000 to get 30hp, is not too smart. You are paying 1/5 of the total price of your car to get only 30hp.
To some people, modifying cars is stupid, waste of money. Some people also think getting nice german cars like Mercedes is stupid. Why don't you just drive a $10,000 that can get you to point A to B?
So... everything moderation is good. But if you really auto fanatic and just like to modify cars and do them yourself, that's a different story.

So, i guess if you are going to do any mods without having to worry much about the warranty, they probably have to be purely cosmetic (like a little spoiler). Or you will have to find a really good, responsible tuner that will cover your car if anything wrong happened related to the MODs.
