Thanks! I actually had them installed today. Currently a lil over a finger gap, gonna wait 2 weeks after it fully settles to see how much space is left.

Question for the h&r ss users. How was the alignment, were the shops able to bring it back to stock? If not how close, and if there are camber plates available to adjust this? This will be my first time considering springs. I've used c/o on all my cars. Tien, Tanabe, Zeal, Ohlins/Stasis is my latest. All of these had camber plates in exception to the Ohlins which I installed adjustable upper control arms.

From what I've read from other SS owners, most say that even after the springs settled, the alignment was pretty close to OEM specs. Even if it isn't, for the fronts you can adjust enough to bring to spec and the rears, if you don't have enough, there's a vendor (?) on the board that offers rear camber kits. Generally speaking, one doesn't need camber plates for springs or even CO's for that matter unless you're specifically trying to achieve a certain look or function outside of the OEM specs.

Great thanks. I just want to preserve the tire as much as possible. I'm debating on the SS or their c/o's. Will be running 19's, and 19 inch tires are expensive.

It all comes down to what you're looking to achieve with your suspension. Springs offer a certain degree of looks and performance, especially brands such as Eibach and H&R. CO's obviously have their upside but also their downsides, ie, needing to refurb the pistons every certain mileage, or the thread collar rusting or whatnot, etc etc.

There are many factors involved when deciding on your suspension set-up, it took me a couple of months to even decide on getting the H&R's and even now I still sometimes think I should've gotten the sport versions mainly cuz the car is my fiancee's DD in which sometimes her family rides in it and/or borrows it, she has no clue about cars, and I'm running on the oem shocks atm so there is a bit too much of a bouncy feeling. I'm looking to pair it with Bilstein B8's later on but our wedding takes financial precedence.

And please, can ppl stopping quoting every pic when they respond?

dru20s - The pads he's referring to are rubber pads that sit between the rear springs and chassis/main body. MB used different mm thickness for different trim levels which would affect the total suspension height.

I read the whole thread.. and Im still trying to figure out a list of what we all should be looking at.

Does it go like this?

Lowest Drop to Minimal Drop.
1) H&R Super Sports
2) H&R Sport
3) Eibach Pro

I think Super Sports are too low for my daily driving. So im trying to find whats lower for my C350 sport. Eibach or H&R Sport?

Im at this on Stock OEM C350 Sport..

how many of you needed to get fluted camber / caster bolts because your car pulled to one side after lowering and alignment..

usually due to caster not even on both sides.. i was told the stock bolts have 0 adjustment for caster and camber..

HR super sports

I got my alignment done without any need for special bolts. I've got H&R super sports too.

Maybe they're just trying to gouge you?

What are the consequences later or problems the 4matics will have for installing the super sports and not the regular sports? Cause i wanted to go with the super sports but i ended up going with the regular sports cause I didn't want any problems

Installed the H&R Super Sports today on my 2010 c300 4matic and must say I am very happy with the ride comfort & stance! Now just waiting on the new 19" wheels to be powdercoated. Later.

I have a set of Super Sports that I am debating on installing.

I am going with 19" staggered rims and I am not worries about rubbing from there. I am worried about the front lip I installed and if it will scrape all the time. I have a pretty rough entrance to my building at work that I can scrap on now if I am not careful.

I want to pull the trigger and put them in but I drive the car every day and I do not want to worry about ruining the lip.

Anyone have Super Sports and a front lip that can shed some light on this. I have a 2008 C300 4matic sport so I think the drop will be less than the luxury model.

Thanks kitthurmann! Though I am still wondering on the ride quality between KW-v1 vs H&R. I heard that the latter offers more comfortable ride than the former? Anyone can share a light on this please?

S204 320 CDI AMG styling
Hello, can anyone help me?

My car has AMG styling from factory that (as I know) means lowering around 15mm compare to standard suspension. I am looking for extra 25-30mm lowering, so the H&R super sports springs will by fine for that job. But in the catalogue, there are only available for W204 (saloon). Does anyone know, how the H&R super sports will behave on S204 (station wagon). If the rear springs for S204 are stronger or if there are any other issues. Has anyone applied these springs on S204?

The official statement from H&R says, that the super sports are tester only for saloon and coupe, not for the station wagon, so they don´t know how they will behave.

I was looking for springs with catalogue no. 29075-1 (probably European marking) which I suppose are similar to spring no. 52794-77 (probably US marking).

Yes you can. Click the link post below. It also answers your question about the super sports working on a 4MATIC which I answered in the other thread as well.

i'm interested the H&R Super Sports, but can anybody help me confirm the correct the part no.? I have found 52794 in my searches, but there's no mention of anything about Super Sport in the description, it only says Sport springs.

I'm located in Australia, but H&R doesn't seem to be very accessible here, hence making them very hard to find.

I have a C320 CDI V6 sedan. Cheers.

There are but according to most ppl, the ride comfort is fine with stock shocks and aftermarket springs. The argument being that all the trim levels use the same shocks so even from oem where the sports trim is a different height from the luxury trim its still the same shock which for some reason means that the stock shocks can hold. I however found this to not be true though I'm more ocd about things and will be getting bilstein b8's installed soon.
