I was wondering if anyone knows for certain if the 2009 C class will have the new side mirrors. I purchased a 2009 and waiting for delivery first week of december.

I was looking at a few '09s just yesterday and none have the new mirrors, unfortunately.

In Canada, I just took delivery of a 2009 C300 4M about 2 weeks ago, and the mirrors are not the winged LEDs seen on the S and SLK class cars.

I'm taking delivery next week and was wondering if my car would have the new mirrors but I don't believe anyone in Canada (or US) have taken delivery of a car with the new mirrors. I doubt mine will either. I had a build date of September but given yours is likely a November build, you may get them. I was at the dealership today and no new mirrors on any of the '09 Cs.

Here in Europe if you order a new C class now t will have the new mirros.

Looks like the only way to obtain them for US cars is to buy a RT ticket to Stuttgart and head up to the factory owned parts store.

A bit pricey.

im in the caribean, i have a 09 with new mirror, sorry our mb are euro style, will post pics tomorrow

Finally, an update I am really glad I don't have...not a real improvement...just my opinion though.

If MB wants to add something useful to the car, put a 12V receptacle in the center storage container so I can charge my cell phone without reaching into the glovebox or cabling from the rear seat 12V plug.

it wouldn't be so bad, if the two you mentioned had power in them when the car is off, I like to leave the phone plugged in overnight to charge, but in this car that is not possible with the current outlets.....car off, no power

Are the 09 mirrors smaller? They are huge on the 08. You see real good but they're HUGE.

Its the part of improvement to the blue efficiency C class 1.8 engine and another smaller engine. Now they will be added to all new C class that you order now. Here if you want to replace the old ones with the new its 500 Euros excluding labour work.

well it looks cheaper than the regular mirrors. part of that is because the black plastic from the hind stretches all the way to the end of the mirror. just hideous

right on, its the result of the blue efficiency effort, the original mirror is not as aerodynamic and they suffer from moisture/vapors sipping in and creates
the "morning dew" effect..... They are hitting two birds with one stones. I suspect the current mirrors is still on the USA 09 because of excess parts left over and the newer mirrors are given priority to the blue efficiency and other models that has them already.

yes it is true .
it is only for blue efficiency effort . in our country 09 C is selling normal mirror not that . if I would have new C with this mirroe probably I would change to old one

I would bet the wind noise is gone. THAT would be an improvement.

i dont hear much/if any wind noise in my 09 with the old mirrors. but i have only driven it on the freeway once coming back from the dealer. so i guess i may have been distracted
