very cool! do you have any idea as to how much of the hp/torque will be improved? a ballpark range would do.

Wait until you see how much it improves the mileage.

Search for the different crank pulley options offered and the theoretical background on what these can give (if you don't want to do the maths yourself) and only then make your own conclusions.

Hello,

The cost is the same as our other crank pulleys, $549. Comes with lifetime warranty of course.

Power gains on the V8s are 10-15 rear wheel Hp & Tq in the mid range.

The gains on the M272 are more in the 7-10 rear wheel HP& Tq in the midrange simply b/c its a smaller displacement engine making less hp stock. It is more about producing crucial low end to midrange torque instead of just absolute peak HP at redline. It will help the V6 feel a bit more like a V8 and give a bit more meat under the curve.

If interested you can participate in our Dyno rewards program, we give special discounts for those who dyno our pulleys on Dyno Dynamics brand dynos and follow our specific directions. We will credit you the discount after dynos are performed.

If interested feel free to contact us via PM or email. Have a nice day.

Is this only for 3.5 or is it for all m272 engine like the 3.0 I have or the 2.5 on C230?

Would the gain be larger if I already have the SI ECU tune and do I need to get it retuned? Thanks.

4Matic doesn't do anything different than the 2wd on the engine, so I believe if the pulley fits the m272 engine it should fit on my car.

You got PM
BTW, on your site it only leads to m112/m113 pulley and not the m272 pulley.

Is there any trade off? Noise, top end HP/Tq? MPG?

research is your friend....
like Diesel Benz implies in his post above - anyone considering this performance 'enhancement' would be well advised to perform a little research and then decide if 0.4HP (at most) plus potential engine crank damage / warranty denial is actually worth $500.
