Dealer did not install license plate bracket

I dont have them on any of my cars. If it didnt come with it I am not going out of my way for it. I dont think CA is a 2 plate state.

However, some say the penalty isn't too bad, when you get stopped, so they just keep paying the tickets.
I have no idea what the amount is, or the penalty as I unfortunately have front plates.

the ticket fines are around 50-200 bucks if you dont want to fix and how many tickets you let stack up before you pay them.... but what i did was just double stick tape the bracket and screw in the plate and i just removed it after i paid off the ticket

The dealer we buy our cars from in Stockton, CA doesn't install front brackets on any of their cars. They make you sign a waiver acknowledging that they provided you with a front bracket.

I have the extra plate and the following adapter in my trunk...

I like the look without the plate and if I do get a ticket - I can use the adapter on short notice to show law enforcement office i can be legal.

I really like my NHLPB from gominigo.com, we might move to AZ where front plates are optional so I don't want to drill any holes.

Ditto, our dealer in San Rafael made us sign a form stating that the car came w/o one but they will provide one when the plates come in from Sacto.
