You Don't Know What You've Got Till It's Gone...
they said they "couldn't re create the noise"... they must not have tried very hard because on the way home i heard it again... and now a week later its much worse... also the reverse lag was still there.
so i call benz a bit angrier this time (only way to get things done apparently) and they sent girl to pick up my car and drop a loaner... so i have to go at least a day without my car...

i stood at my office window and stared at her get into my car move around the seats fiddle with the dash and drive away.
:obsessed:
good news is i get to drive a new car!

*gets shiver down spine*

On a more serious note, I know how you feel. I went 3 days without my car while it was in the shop for the ECU tune. I rented a Toyota Camry and man did that thing drive rough, the seats were horrible and it sounded like a toy airplane accelerating. When I got my car back I started to notice all of the things that made me buy the car when I first started test driving it.
I hope they locate the problem and get you your car back soon!
That is a very important observation. I couldn't agree more. I was at the car show in Cleveland last month and I sat in a bunch of cars. When I got the W204s, any thoughts of it having a cheap interior or second thoughts about my purchase went away. Honestly, it was my favorite car of the show (with less than 300hp
). Even some of the higher hp cars seemed like junk. The funny thing is, the Lexus IS-F was way more impressive than I thought it would be. And the nav system blows the Benz and BMW systems away. Anyway, I just wanted to drive your point home.
Pow!

and i was stalking my car... making sure she didn't mistreat it! :\
You mean to tell me these cars were meant for men all this time
On a side note in my area I never see a guy in a W204, and if I do it's always clear it's his wifey's car.
but back to the topic... i called i guess it was something with the rear break :\ they ordered parts... gotta wait one more day tho... inshallah i get it back tomorrow in perfect working condition...
MY GOODNESS @ 9 days still...

i ordered... turned left... (heard the squeak)
drove forward past 2 windows (started taping after i got my sundae)
then turned left again and drove off...
when i straighten up you can hear the squeal lessen but it's still there as i drive straight... it seems to happen only on left turns.
