On some C's, the top of the door handle is chromed. I think this is REALLY nice, especially with the white color. Can you select the chromed tops when you order the car?

NOTE: Not talking about the chromed door handle recesses.

 

Chrome handle tops were always part of the Elegance package on the W203 - Here in SA they are not available on the W204 - I think the 204 handles look cheap without them. Tried to order them for a family member when we ordered her car & we were told not available at all.

I didn't ask if you could order them (I'm in Canada), because I was looking at in stock and coming models, not ordering my own. But now I'm thinking about ordering a 2010 with everything I want.

Yes, but these are mounted on top of the existing handles, wont this make them very bulky?

 

On top of that, wont there be a tiny gap in order to fit the double side tape.

 

The door handles on the W204 have sort of an indentation so they should fit relatively flush. I've always eyed this aftermarket add-on but had the same thoughts like how do they adhere, fitments,water tightness, wear & tear on a frequently touched part, etc.

 

They are only associated with Keyless Go, if you have Keyless Go you should have them.
Same thing like Led tail light is associated with bi-xenon

 

Shaetz is quality stuff - They don't use double sided tape

Presume cover with 9999 means chrome?

 

The last four digits of the part number is the color code, 9999 means base coated or colorless if you want.

With "cover" I mean pos 130 in this pic wich is also needed if you want a complete assembly.

 

We are looking for the Chrome top that goes on the handle & cover - not the whole handle & cover. Would appreciate if you can find that
