I have received the power throttle today, gonna try it this weekend if i have the time...
Here are 2 pictures, one with the box open.
You can adjust it by turning the white circle to 3 o'clock it's on max and turn it to 9 o'clock you decrease the response.
When tested i will put my story here...

Oops i meant using Mercedes' Touch Shift to shift the gears. Isn't shifting the gears yourself give the same results as the sprint boosters? If you're shifting the gears using the Touch Shift, you wouldn't have to press that extra pressure on the pedal in order to get full throttle.

UPDATEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Have installed the power throttle this weekend!!
Now im trying to find out the best adjustment, you can adjust it from normal to sporty.
Have it in the most sporty adjustment now, that really sensitive, if i put my transmission in S its crazy....
With rainy weather the ESP light keep on blinking when you accelerate from the traffic lights. And havent got that that much as without any converter and sprintbooster.
This mornig it was snowing here, than you have to watch out....
Believe me, if you have an automatic 5-speed gear box YOU MUST HAVE THIS. I cant speak for the 7-speed gear boxes or manual gear boxes because i dont have experience with it...
And people can say its the same like putting the accellerator to the floor, but its totaly different. The 5-speed auto tran. have a terrible lag, and with the Power Throttle there is no lag anymore.
I had removed the Sprintbooster couple of weeks ago, when they send me the wrong power throttle, so i was driving without the Sprintbooster. Have tryed everything people say, push the accelerator etc. but its not the same.
Do i like the Power Throttle more than the Sprintbooster??
Absolutely, the sprintbooster is more on/off the power throttle is smoother....
And just like the Sprintbooster, some like it, some hate it... and than you have the people who hate it but dont know what they're talking about because they never tryed it......

This is an excellent test, and includes insight into MB's adaptive nature of the throttle, including quotes from a MB reference. Unfortunately, the author has a poor definition of "response", and related false conclusions.
The data clearly shows a 30% response improvement, which the author defined as sensitivity. He did a separate test, going to WOT as fast as possible (~.2sec). The stock response for this specific test was almost immediate, and the booster had no significant improvement. In my opinion, the author was wrong to use this single test (mash pedal to floor asap) to define general throttle response.

No power change, but it increases throttle response ( reaction at throttle to motion at pedal ) by about 30%, based on the white paper data.

I read the paper, and evaluated the data, and suggest you do to. Sounds like it really helps the atx.

There is a HUGE thread about this white paper on the W203 forum.
Me and Glyn have read EVERYTHING about this. It DOES NOT improve throttle response. It amplifies it.
The time it takes for the car to respond to your throttle input is the same. I don't understand how you can disagree with those facts based on the hard data (the graphs) in the white paper.
If you guys are fooled this easily by the product and really feel that it makes the car better, so be it, maybe it is worth it for you.
Not trying to start an argument as all the data is out there for all to see, and I have posted my thoughts on this numerous times.
Also, unless the sprintbooster has been redesigned and is now forwarding the redundant throttle signals that MB designed the vehicle with, then it is also a safety concern to be using it. I have also posted about this before.
For those who want to comment but still have not read this white paper allow me to post the most important part for you. This is a direct quote:
"What does this mean? Basically, the Sprint Booster makes the accelerator pedal
about 30% more sensitive. A side effect, which can readily be seen in the graphs
in Figure 3 and Figure 4, is that the accelerator pedal becomes dead beyond about
two thirds travel with Sprint Booster.
It is important to note that any accelerator signal into the ECU using a Sprint
Booster can be duplicated exactly by a driver without a Sprint Booster, merely by
pressing the accelerator pedal a greater distance."

Throttle lag on these cars is created & maintained in the ECU - The only way to get rid of it is to reprofile the ECU.
All these other devices are merely signal amplifiers.

acr - If, after the lag period which remains constant - these guys are happy to have WOT at 50% of pedal movement let them go & play. It's their money. All I say is that they should not mislead others on the forum.
