sprint booster

after reading thru some reviews on sprint booster, iv decided to order the product to see for myself whether it really gives you the extra sprint that suppose to get rid of our notorious lag time. the sprint booster comes with a 30 days guaranty, which i think is great.....if i feel it does not meet my standard, i have the option to return the product with no questions ask. so that way, i can say iv tried.

there's a few threads about led lite for the interior... search and read it before u order and come up with your own conculsion for bulbs size and etc... i am suprised that other members have not ripped u about the sprint booster since it "was" a hot topic a while back ago... regardless, its your car so do whatever fit u.... good luck n post your report about the sprint booster..

Here we go again. I have the Sprintbooster and won't drive without it. I removed it when I took my car in for the B service. Driving home, I couldn't wait to get it installed again.

I have always thought the throttle response time was quite "lazy" and prefer it being a little snappier/peppier. So does the sprint booster simply increase the reaction speed to throttle inputs or the actual position of the throttle.

I have the Sprintbooster and i like it... some are negative some are positive...

There are so much topics about the sprintbooster!!

In a couple of weeks i will receive another "throttle" thing, it a new brand on the market. At this moment i can't put the name here.

I will be a "test" driver to see if it works, and how it works.

It's comming from a well known company, so it must be good!!

It's not like the sprintbooster, the new thing is adjustable and with a build in processor.

If i received it i will keep everyone updated

cool.... hope u do a nice comparison write-up since i think u and a few others were a few who first got them (i think).. however, i am excited to see what will be the difference between the two.. question, by having the build in processor, does that mean that if u reflash the ecu, would u then have to reinstall the booster???

You dont have to reflash the ECU because the throtlle thing give another signal to you TCU , thats also what the Sprintbooster does. I have seen the new "thing" and hope to receive it soon so i can see what it does. or what not LOL. But it comes from a well known company who dont sell crap, so we will C.

I will get more info next week i hope.... im exited to....

Goedemiddag Petje.

Can't wait to see your review. although I am very happy with the sprint booster I always look for something better. Will this new "thing be about the same price as the SB?

I am not sure about other SB users but I installed my SB AFTER performing the "ECU" reset, then take it on the highway and let the car adapt itself. Then after few days driving around without the SB I installed the SB.

Have none of you seen the white paper on the sprint booster or the huge thread about it? It was scientifically PROVEN that it does absolutely nothing to throttle response or power. It simply decreases the pedal travel. With it installed, once you push the pedal past ~3/4 you get no more acceleration because you are already at full throttle. A lot of people even with it installed are unfortunately fooled by this. There are also questions regarding the safety of the SB because it does not (unless its been updated) forward the redundant gas pedal position signal. Without that redundant signal you could get stranded, or worse, the throttle could get "stuck" (electronically ofcourse.) Please go read that thread. There's always someone who will respond now and say that I'm wrong. I'm not going to respond to that because the white paper clearly states the facts.

+1 - this nonesense again & no it does not get rid of throttle lag. All it is, is a signal amplifier.

I have received the power throttle today, gonna try it this weekend if i have the time...

Here are 2 pictures, one with the box open.

You can adjust it by turning the white circle to 3 o'clock it's on max and turn it to 9 o'clock you decrease the response.

When tested i will put my story here...

Seems very similar to this device:
http://www.tunersgroup.com/Online_Store/HAC.html with the difference that this can be adjusted without opeing the device itself. but its more $$ then the SB.

Looking forward to your review

Hi Petje, How was your weekend? Did you get a chance to try the new device? also i am wondering what you did with all that cabling that comes with the device? Seems excessive compared with the SB

Ah, I think I saw Petje busy with his nice weekend last sunday on the A13 near Rotterdam. A small breath of a black W204 and i could just see an impressive quad exhaust shining in the night . I don't think there are much with this mod in our country.
