As far as what I have read, think most people will suggest Polargs...

You need the bulbs T-10 or 194 which are the samething but different shops call it differently. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Polar...%3D5%26ps%3D63

Can you see the blue of the Polargs through the eyelid area?

No you can't see it unless you get really close to it. The polargs are good but don't get LED's cause they start flickering or burn the inside of the eyelids but at the sametime that's up to you.

Get the Polargs. They're cheap and they're the closest you can get to those HID looks. LEDS tend to change colour and they are known to melt the bulb housing.

I am wondering if you can stealth the polarg by spraying a light shade of silver and use it on the side marker to avoid blue color for showing to much, would it work?

I only have P1 and no Bi-xenon headlight. I'm trying to avoid upgrading to HID and instead contemplating no using Philips CV 4300 for both low and fogs and polargs for the lid. Not sure if the set up will be good though.

That setup will be sensational. It is what most owners have gone for. You might want to think about doing your brights as well with Philips Diamond Vision. You won't regret it.

is the output of the Philips CV 4300 stronger or worse than the halogen headlights?

Any idea where to buy this ellusive Philips CV halogen bulbs and Diamond?

Current Stock headlight does make it hard to drive at night, i hope this upgrade will not only cosmetic be a positive change but also make my driving at night be more convenient.

I don't have it yet, but from what i read, it is bright and white with almost no shade of blue. Definitely an upgrade for people who doesn't want to do HID conversion.

Well output is less visible compared to stock but still worth it from my point of view. I'm running Diamond Vision on my low beams and still debating between crystal vision and diamond vision for the fogs. I would appreciate if any of you could post pics of the Crystal Vision on the Low beam so I could see the output though. Might swipe em all out.

Yea the polargs would match the Stock bi-xenon. Try searching for a thread from Vic Viper and you could see how well the Polargs, Xenon and crystal vision would match up.

LEDs wont work on our cars unless they have built in resistors. They tend to draw out less current than the ordinary lamps and hence the warning light.

Polargs are not LEDs and so there is no need for resistors for them to work. They're plug and play whereas I'm not very sure where you can find LEDs with built in resistor. You can probably try the PIAA ones. I think I've seen a forum member here using them

I resigned to this thing a long time ago since the Polargs were not as bright as i would've liked (I was looking/aiming 4 a DRL type of thing as Audi)... I then tried the LED's with resistors.... they are pricey, 35$ each.. 4 bulbs.. 2 for each side and they turned blue after a week of use .. roughly 5-6 hours of use.. They did the job of being seen in daylight but not the white-ish color i was aming for.. The guy that i bought them from told me they were gonna come eventually as a 5k o 6k Hid matching color, as people seemed to be asking for them instead of those bluish type bulbs.. I haven't called him since like a year so i went stock mode and liked it. Just because both eyelids and fogs match.

If you have aftermarket HID's in the fogs and headlights, i think you should contemplate having these LED's as they are quite matchable to those aftermarket outputs.. They seem as an 8k for example... kind of a bluish tint output.. and not a 5k stock white/purple hue color output

Do a quick search and there should be some pictures of this polarg bulb on W204.

From what already discussed, it does not throw any error since this is just a regular bulb and not Led.

Led withour a built in resistor is the one that throw an error.

Try these. They have the resistors built in.
