Polisher for W204?

Ok, since you guys talked about waxing and polishing, I decided to go ahead and bought some products. I have purchased Poorboy's diamonds and wolfgang sealant 3.0
Now.
I am planning to purchase porter cable 7242xp for the better polishing.
What else do I have to buy to apply the polisher and sealant?
for instant, what pad...etc
Ican't wait for the porter cable so I am going to apply it with hand first.
Then, when it comes with all the right tool, I will wash car with car detergent and little bit of dishwash detergent and redo the whole thing with porter cable. Any other advice?
Thank you all~

p.s: my car is artic white.

Personally, I remove light swirls with Menzerna PO106FA on a black pad. This is a very fine polish that's specially designed to work with our ceramic clearcoat. If you've got heavier swirls, you may need to step it up to Menzerna PO85RD with a white or orange pad. This is a heavier polish that's also designed for ceramic clearcoats. The general rule of thumb is to start with the least aggressive compound and then move to a heavier one if the lighter one doesn't give you the correction you want. Also make sure to clay your car before starting any polishing job.

poorboys white diamond is a glaze, so you're not doing any paint correction. If you're applying glaze and sealant with a polisher, stick with jeweling pads like Lake Country blue or black pads. If you plan on doing any form of paint correction, can't go wrong with the Menzerna trio (SIP, PF, 85RD).

Have to see condition of your paint, but you always want to start with less aggressive then move up if needed. Try Power Finish with a white or maybe even yellow LC pad...if that doesn't work, you can move up to SIP with a yellow or orange if really needed. Finish off with 85RD with a white or black pad.

Michael, I have a few spots where the body shop sprayed over a slight piece of dust or something and ended up with a pimple in my finish. How do you correct that? Do I need to wet sand it and then polish it? Should I just take it to a body shop that can fix it?

If they sprayed over the spec, then wet sanding will probably have to be done. Polishing isn't going to do jack cause it's under the paint.

I ended up getting the hand polisher kit.(budget issue) I don't have much swirl marks anywhere other than trunk. Some reason there are lots of dirt get on back of the car specially the trunk. I need to clay bar out the debris and dust.

I got polishing pal kit, http://www.detailedimage.com/DI-Pack...ffing-Kit-P454, and the Menzerna PO106FA

I hope I get some good result from all this. I will do Wash, Clay bar, Menzerna PO106FA, Poorboy's diamond glaze, and top it off with wolfgang 3.0 sealant.

It will be long day by doing it with hand, but I will enjoy it. I will post some pictures soon as I get it done. I am waiting for the those items to arrive at my door.

FYI, 10% off and free shipping off DI on orders over $50 so if you didn't take advantage of that, might be worth contacting Todd at DI and seeing if he can apply it.

The stuff comes and I decided to give it a try.
So, I washed car(my wax are all gone, I haven't waxed in 4month). I clay bar the car, and Hand polished with Menzerna PO106FA(Green pad used), Poorboy's white diamond(black pad used), and Wolfgang 3.0 sealant(blue pad used). It was done by hand and it was hard(my arms killing me). I didn't have swirl makrs or any paint to correct, so it wasn't hard. The car looks very clean and shiny white. The car shows little more bright white but maybe it's just me. The car looks great. I like it alot. I just need the rain to test the sealant but I don't want the rain(luckly cali weather is hot so far this summer and no rain)
Maybe in couple of days, I will put another layer of sealant.

SIP on green is my go-to combo......hasn't let me down yet! If I'm polishing black or some other dark color, I will jewel with 85rd on blue or white. But SIP finishes down nicely with the Flex and some finessing
