VMR 710- Photoshop help and opinions wanted
I have been looking forever to find the just right set of wheels but the offsets for the W204 have seemed to stop me in my tracks everytime. I think I have finally found something as VMR is now making the 710 with the proper center bore and offsets for the new C Class.
Could someone with a bit more skill than me please photo shop the 710's onto an Iridium Silver C Class? Also, I would like to hear opinions on whether or not the design is a little too "BMWuey"...lol
I have always like a good five spoke and a good "birdcage" look so these may finally do the trick for me but wanted to get some differing/confirming opinions.
Thanks

Check out www.adv1wheels.com they have rims of similiar design, with correct offsets, be warned they are pricey.

+1 If I start at the ground and let my eyes wander up, those wheels do lead me to expect a 3 series. There's something about the semi-circular end of how the adjacent spokes connect at the hub which seems odd....too "pretty/delicate".
Dynomite, your wheels look great!

Thanks Dynomite!
I like them but not sure if they are quite the direction I want to go...I kind of agree with Sportstick about the look but I was thinking more "lightweight" than delicate...lol.
So far the two front runners are these and the Munichs from formymercedes.com...
Guess I will finally have to do something once my stock 17s wear out.

Classic beauty is classic beauty. I don't quite get being different just for different's sake. I've seen the new wheels I just bought before....I just haven't seen anything I like better, so regardless of whatever anyone else has, put your personal favorite in your driveway!

They remind me of the Work VS-XX.

If you have the budget, $2500-$3500, go with the Works. If not, then I guess these are probably the closest thing to the Works. I digg it, but would love to see a set of Works VS-XX on our car.
You can also look into BBS LM replicas. They have a birdcage/spiderweb look to them as well.

I completely understand....this is just another example of what makes this forum so interesting....a variety of opinions!
I would be fine if every other car looked like mine...I think uniqueness for it's own sake is highly overrated. "Same" doesn't matter to me if I like what I have....but then again, let two women show up to the same party in the same dress, and look out!!

C300 4MATIC (w204)
Just so everyone knows, the VMR 710's will not fit on the W204. Although the center bore and lug pattern are fine, the center hub is too long and will stick out from the wheel. I talked to VMR and they said there is nothing they can do unless they alter the design of the wheel to get them to work for mercedes...any they stated that they have no plans on doing so either.
