For $69 - come on now! What do you guys think?
After reseting my TCU and seeing how my car was so much faster - I am very interested in the thought that the engine in the C300 has a little more potential then it shows.

I would definitely rather install one of these: http://www.ilovebodykits.com/product...O_Spoiler.html I hear it's an extra 300 rwhp gain, plus it can be installed by ANYONE

You might want to stick to some of the more reputable tuners. For $500-$1000 you will likely get somewhere between 10 to 20 extra HP and a quicker throttle response.
Edit: after looking at the website a little more, it looks like the banner stating "up to 60 HP" is there no matter what chip you are looking at. I am assuming that 60 HP increase was on a big, modestly tuned engine, not the 3.0 liter in the C300.

The dentist and the other guy are crazy (ask anyone). Trust *me*. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
wow i am shocked how they can say bull****s in such a genuine way, " GUARANTEE OR MONEH BACK PROMISE!!!!"
then when one goes back " we promised 0 - 60hp gain, urs fall on the 0, so it is what we promised, no moneh for u mate" or "ok u gotta pay restocking fee and handling fee and and shipment fee thatll be another $100, or you could purchase our other product that will give u 300HP gain for $200"
still, i think there will be people who fall for it :/

MY 300 is about out of warranty, and I enjoy reliability and longevity, but I'd entertain something that would give me more aggressive tip-in and maybe quicker shifts. I don't need 400hp, nor do I want it. That's what I drive my M119 for,....lol. What are the best options, chips and beyond?
I just wish someone could make a "chip" that corrects the throttle lag our cars have. NOT THE SPRINT BOOSTER. Something that actually gets rid of the lag. I guess I can dream...
My friend has installed RaceChip (http://racechip.de ) in his BMW 320d and Audi A6 and there is a difference in the Performance of his car. I plan to buy one for my BMW 325i and check it out and go in for my C250
I certainly have tried it in the past. It most certainly does not remove the lag (I don't even think that has been debated?) as proven based on the way that it works. You guys might like what it does, and if so... hey it's your money and I'm glad you are enjoying it. It still doesn't remove the lag. Anyway, if you think otherwise... then that's your business. When you can prove the white paper wrong with scientific facts let me know. Until then I won't argue it any further than this post.
