Cna you post some pictures DYI in grille removal?

I tried to remove the grille. I opened the hood, located the center round notch. I am stuck here. I tired to pull out the notch(after turn 12 and 6o' clock), I couldn't get it out. I broke off little bit of the plastic. I heard someone said we don't have to pull out the notch, and I am interested to know how.

Even after I remove the circle notch, I don't see how I could remove the 4 notch at each corners. Where to stick the flat driver and which way do I pull/push?

I think pictured DYI could help out alot. Can any great person make this in Picture DYI? I want to but I don't know how to remove the grille. I have starless grille sitting on ground, and want to see how it looks.

I had the same issue, after about 30 minutes and some very sore fingers, I took some pliers and broke it off. I hear you don't need to completely remove it, but if you break it, a new one is only $3 at the dealer. There is a PDF grille removal on the forum that shows where the notches are and is pretty helpful.

Ok that helped. I did it. my thing was dirty, but it worked. But one thing. the grille I purchased is great fit and great looks, but they have weak I mean REALLY Weak vertical support plastic. They are really thin. I broke one off(didn't break completely, tho). Anyway, I will figure something out to glue it or make support more thicker. I will try to overlay it with CF also. Thank you guys. counldn't have done it with out you.
