Not all C's have folding rear seats, sucks eh? I think on 2008/09 models it was included in the P2 package.

+1 on what MBnewby said. On 08 and 2009 models you only got folding rear seats when you upgraded to the P2 package (xenon lighting, power rear shade, etc). I think in the 2010 and newer models it is now included as part of the p1 package (or maybe an entire separate option, I'm really not sure).

Anyway, if you did have this feature, when you opened your trunk and looked at where the rear glass window meets the rubber lining, there would be a little lever that you would pull out towards yourself that would unlatch the rear seats, allowing them to fold down.

Open the trunk and look under the rear deck right at the trunk opening. If you have folding rear seats, there are two seatback releases right there that pull out. If you don't have the releases in the trunk, you don't have folding seats.

They were initially included in Package 2 but with the recent creation of the Lighting Package and elimination of Package 2, the folding seats were moved to Package 1. The cars with Package 2 are actually kind of rare. I don't fold the seats down often but there are those times when I'm really glad I have them.

About half way down, it shows how to get wiring into the trunk for those cars without folding rear seats.

Even if you had folding seats, it would make no difference. My car does and to run my backup camera wiring I did this:

Straighten out a wire coathanger and make a small loop in one end. Take off the right side cover in the trunk, exposing the rear fuse panel. Push the looped end of the coathanger behind the fuse panel and up over the top of the fenderwell. Open the rear door and press your fingers down alongside the seatback. The wire will be right there. It should not be necessary to remove the seatback at all. You can pull your wires either direction by taping them to the pull wire.

i see your trying to run an amp. all you have to do is buy a high/lo adapter pop the rear deck cover off n just tap into ur rear sub. thats what i did and everything works great. Didnt run anything from the battery or the front of the car. Tapped into the power wire that leads to the rear fuser box. Everything works great..
