Problems connecting Droid X via Bluetooth in C300

Hi everyone, long time reader, first time poster.
Just got a 2011 C300 Sport and have found it impossible to connect my Verizon Droid X to the car's built-in navigation. Basically, when I get to the screen where the car asks for the code, my phone doesn't display it, even though it can detect the MB Bluetooth System. After a while it will display a message like "Cannot connect to MB Bluetooth". Any ideas what might be causing the problem? The phone's software is fully updated.

First of all-- thanks for the prompt reply! Makes me feel very welcome on this awesome forum.
I won't be able to try until later as I am at work right now, but I have a feeling this will do it!
Thanks again

All three of those phones are compatible with MB vehicles. Comparing each side by side, you end up dealing with three different beasts. The X is great for watching/streaming movies, but obviously its HUGE. The Incredible is everything the X is, but on a smaller scale, and the Pro is the result of a blackberry sleeping with an android phone - it's perfect if you text and email alot.

My wife wants a BB and I want Android, so maybe Pro is the answer! Thanks! Now I just can hope for a BOGO free offer in the next month when our Verizon "new every two" is up for renewal on the family plan.

Shop around Premium Retailers in your region. A BOGO w/ NE2 on the Droid Pro is possible, and profitable for a store, so you can find someone willing to do it.

There's also something new coming out soon at AT&T that looks even more promising, which could provide some interesting Android vehicle functionality.

Check out the Droid 2 Global. It's Verizon-native but supports an additional GSM SIM for global or other-network roaming.

HI everyone...I have a similar problem.
My 2007 R320 CDI has the BT adapter in the center console. My BlackBerry Tour connected to this easily...and the address book displayed nicely on the screen in the car. Example...Bob Smith.
My new Droid Pro connects nicely and works well. BUT...the display of contacts is like this: Bob Sm
Really ? So clearly the Droid Pro is not sending all the data to the MB Bluetooth and there is some loss of data. So who gets upgraded? The MB BT or (if you could find it) the Droid ?
Thanks.

UPDATE: I did it today and it does transfer contacts as v-cards successfully. Only thing is, it sends as "last_name, first_name", whereas previous contacts sent from the LG 8360 sent them the opposite way.
