'08 C350 Sport

Good Day everyone...
Sorry if this question/commnet has been asked or said already...

The more I think about it, the more I am starting to think or realize that in buying an '08 C350 Sport.. I bought basically an Apple Computer and not a PC. Very well could be that I am talking out of unexperience with newer MBs and the fact that I converted from BMW (just because of run flat tires)....

But for some reason... if I look for upgrades (not OEM) for this car, nothing seems to be available... am I wrong??...
Soon I am sure I will need new brakes front and rear (currently at 61K miles).. so I thought about upgrading to "better" rotors and brake pads... but no luck... just OEM stuff... no Brembo, APracing, AkeBono, etc.
I also thought about adding some "power" to the engine... no luck either.. just the ECM reprogram from Renntech, Kleimann, Mosselman... but no turbos or superchargers... as I am not about to spend $20K on a Brabus Engine.
Thought about a different set of bumpers, skirts, aprons.. again.. limited on Brabus (which needs a lot of trimming to make it work), Carlsson and that is about it.

Just my experience.

Thanks

There is a big brake kit / AMG upgrade that some members have completed already.

There is a post with a turbocharged car also, built for some MLB player, but not an off the shelf kit like the high dollar Brabus...What are you looking for? They can get over 300HP with tuning and exhaust, what more do you want? (C63 is an option $$$)

I also came out of a BMW and have no regrets - In fact I was shopping 335's when I ran into the C350 and really liked it more..All depends what you want, not sure MB had "tuner" types in mind when building their cars, and aftermarket seems to be lagging, but many have done all kinds of mods, I am sure they will be chiming in...

Akebono EUR 1340 and 1341 for front and rear for C300 (not sure if C350 is the same?)...on Amazon...perform very well and very low dust.

searching on google, for example, for parts is pretty difficult, ive found more success just searching the forum for parts, you can order directly from the manufacturer and you can get a better deal $$. as for brakes i know there is a AMG BBK offered on here and "AZN Optics" has white Brembo's on his C , which look amazing might i add

Brembo makes big brake kits for the 2007+ W204s (C300/C350 and C63)

Ksport also makes big brake kits for our cars which are less expensive than Brembo

Check out vividracing.com for details and pricing

best bet:
~put your oem intake back on.
~headers
~tune
~ some sort of mufflers (if that'll even help, i feel like it did with my 350)
~ 75/100 shot of nitrous (if you dare lol)

or..

~ custom remote turbo (estimated at $3.5-$4K before install)

to get to 300 you need a tuner w a dyno, you cant jsut buy an off the shelf tune. The cold air intake you did prob loses HP, sounds better but probably loses HP. you can make a custom ram air setup w BNC filters, get headers, a proper exhaust like eisenmann, having straight pipes loses HP, u need to regulate backpressure, and then have it custom tuned. will be over 300 on 3.5 prob high 200's on 3.0 then is nitrous if you chance it
