I have the ps2's and they are great, a lil soft but i run them hard through mulholland a lot :P
I'm hearing the extremecontact DW are quieter, more water traction, and more treadlife, also cheaper. I'm going with them after I burn through these ps2's

I had PS2's and they were pretty awesome. I would definitely recommend PS2's. I have Ventus V12s on right now and they are just as awesome! Not as much performance grip as the PS2's but they are pretty good and much cheaper.

I have the Michelin Pilot Sport AS+ and absolutely love them. Great performance and smooth, quiet ride.

2010 C300 Sport
C300 Sport came new with Michelin Primacy HPs, a VERY expensive tire. They are hard and noisy. When these are gone, considering the Conti ExtremeContact DW because of their ride and quietness. However many report damaged sidewalls from potholes. Since road conditions here are so brutal, may just go the PS2 route. In the US the Contis may be an excellent choice.

17" or 18"? I keep hearing the 18" are fine but 17" no so fine (due to sidewall height).

W202 C230 Kompressor, W204 C200 CGI
Why does SA W204 come with Conti Sport Contact 3 instead of PS2?!
W212 is fully imported and with PS.

Geez wish we could get those PS2's as cheap as other countries. Saw them somewhere here for A$645 ea. And our dollar is so strong.

SA production is luck of the draw. Some Conti, some Pirelli, some Michelin

Conti have a plant in SA which gives them a price advantage.

That is a rip off! Mine cost me AUD 250 each, fitted, balanced & full 4 wheel alignment in 235/45/17

Brazil now produces PS2 - much better pricing.

I finally got the new tires installed. I decided to get MICHELIN SUPER SPORT
They are awesome. Better than the OE ContiSportContact3
The installer broke the TPMS but they got a replacement and installed it.
They also put plastic valve caps instead of my OE valve caps.
Not sure what they did to the original ones. I asked them to put the OE ones. They did but they look different. Oh well...but I really like the tires.
