While GTR is technically impressive, the fact it is so damn ugly just kinda get's in the way.

There's one of these in every state I'm willing to bet. The one in Cali is up in Norcal on an HPF M3 I believe.

Directed personal plates, no matter on which make/model would cause me too much anxiety on whether someone would really take offense and vandalize my car.
How serious/cocky people are varies, but no matter how much hp/torque you have, there's always someone else bigger out there somehwere, as seen by the replies here.
A (true) funny story about this: a couple years ago when I was dropping off my Passat at the body shop for some work, I see this auhentic RS4 Avant that's freshly smashed, sitting on jacks, and still dripping coolant. His plates? "M3 EATR"!!! Apparently HE got served.
I'll have to see if I can find the sly phone pic I snapped. That would've been good fodder to post on Bimmerpost if I were bad.

$7000 for a brake change and warranty voided is enough to make me not want to buy it or else drive it like an old lady. I have many friends that traded in their POS GTR and bought a 370z and just put it a twin turbo.

the guy may have had a AMG and traded it for the GTR and hasnt replated it yet. Its a pain to swap personalized plates. Im a die hard benz guy but I drove a GTR for a weekend (was in the body shop for a noise and it was necessary to drive around) and was impressed. just the interior is weird for me, kinda like driving a vette, and the electronics arent that great, but its a flashy car, this one was black on black, its a quick car

We've got a GTR shop car and that thing is just raw power. And yeah, the stock Brembo replacements are expensive, but most run AP Racing brake components anyways. Most GTR owners are enthusiasts who have no problem going aftermarket.

rofl who are you to call an R35 GTR a POS? It's perhaps one of the best factory cars you can buy for its price. I'll assume you never drove a GTR.
