Ok so I went with 275/30/20 for my rear and everyone says that I will not be able to drive it because the rear fenders will be sitting on the tire. I have super sports and stretched 255/30/20 on the rear now

Then you have to pay again to mount the old tires back, by then you will know whats your next step, rolling the fenders or stick with 255

my 275s on 10s are stretched too, 295 is the flush size for a 10. If you cant find a place just take one side off and go mount and test fit the one side, you will know right away if it will fit. Put a block of wood a few inches thick under teh rear tire and lower with the jack slow, it will almost bottom and you will know if it clears. kinda a pain, any tire shop around me will test fit and bottom car for you no prob

I only went cheap to make sure they fit. And they are on but hardly. Had to remove the carpet in the wheel well, and I'm going to need a minor fender roll. But its able to drive me around. When these tires are done ill be going with a good tire and a 275/25/20

thats right you have 20s, you need to go w 25 rear and thats still bigger than the stock diameter. theres a conversion chart somewhere on rim size and tire size and you can compare that to stock to try and match the overall diameter. thats what I did so I wouldnt have height issues w the inner fabric. If you went w sumitomo or falkens you would be OK doing nothing w 25 series in back i bet. there isnt any tire shops anywhere near you that stock high performance size tires that can test fit? even a crappy shop that stocks the tires should test fit for you, even if you gotta slip them a 20 or something.

I don't know, never asked. Owell the tires are on. When its time to buy tires 275/25/20 it will be. Also when I took the carpet out you can see where the 255/30/20 had rubbed it down to almost nothing so.. Owell you live and you learn right.

no kidding, the 255 were rubbing the fabric huh? u never heard the rub on bottomouts? but like you say u live and learn, I redid a bunch of stuff for nothing too a few times cause of trial and error. BUT on the other hand it prob looks good as hell on the rear tho. Ive seen guys cutout the fabric section above the wheel arches and then rivet or use pop fasteners a piece of plastic from above to buy more room, should work for you too. You can prob find a pair of used 20s in 25/275 if you look on craigslist or ebay local and pick up for now, that would help alot. theres not much fender to roll on these cars, if it clears dont even bother just fix the wheel well. post some pics of the look. supersports w 20s, you got guts bro.

Very true. Buf only one company makes that tire size. And they are $400 each. So its not really worth it. $800 for two tires or go with a 30 and just remove the carpet. It's not like you need the carpet in there
