$20,159 trade in
$22,305 private party
$24,314 retail
Looking at Auto Trader, there are 198 MB C300's with similar options for sale nationwide :
$33,987 high
$23,877 low
$29,422 average
I would say the price is fair - see if they will knock another $600 off and go for it...

Also understand that no dealer is going to CPO a 3 and a half old vehicle... So if this is your price range and you're OK with the # of miles, I wouldn't let the CPO/nonCPO issue weigh much on my decision.
I would definitely get some sort of extended warranty -either from the Lexus dealership, or aftermarket. Ask your local MB dealership which 3rd party extended warranty they work best with. Mine gave me a name with P (and a brochure - I'll find it this evening and let you know; I plan to buy it if I decide to keep my car after my CPO warranty runs out.)

i tried to haggle the price a little but, the dealer was unwilling to budge, today might be a different story. if he's unwilling to budge between today and tomorrow then, it's a no go for me.
if you happen to come across the info, please pass it along.

The MB dealership that gave me this brochure is part of the Autonation group. I'd check your local MB dealership and see if you'd have any issues if you went with these guys.
Here's some verbiage from the brochure: The VIP Plan vehicle service contract program is administered by Lyndon Property Insurance Company, also a Protective company. In Florida, the VIP Plan is administered by Western General Warranty Corporation, Florida License #60078, P.O.Box 820, Deerfield, IL 60015.
Hope this helps!

I see it's not a P2 car so no Bi-Xenons, folding seats or LED rear turn lights. And I'll bet it does NOT have leather. And the sunroof is standard.
The dreary color with black tex inside is depressing.

I'll be buying one in a few months to tide me over another two years while I wait for the W205.
