I'm guessing you stuck it in all the way. Mine have lasted over a year now I with maybe only 1 or so needing replacement due to slight color shift. Since that issue I inspected almost all of my LEDs to make sure they weren't in all the way. But yeah, send him a PM. Or if I do end up swinging by Cerritos tonight, I'll give him the heads up.

Mine def weren't pushed in all the way I was extra careful installing. Its only one though, the other three are still kickin.

Tell tale sign of over insertion... bottom two resistors closest to voltage plate is held in place while second resistor separates. If anything, it should be the first set of resistors taking the brunt, but because they were physically held in place with the clip on top of it, they stay put. You actually have relatively light burn off marks. That LED is actually salvageable with just some soldering work of the resistor back on.
Shoot an email to aznoptics@gmail.com so I can process a claim though. I'll take care of you.

Maybe you can put those little plastic protectors on the bottom of the LED like these:

Yeah, I've already done that and works good. Only issue is it extends the length of the LED so that they no longer would fit in the sidemarkers and rear plates. So for me to add that feature in and steamline my manufacturing by not having multiple designs, I'd have to go back and redesign the LED to shorten it.
As we continue to improve our product, this is something that I'm looking at though, but will take time as it's not just as simple as adding caps.

LED Canbus keep burning out
Does anyone know what would cause LED bulbs to keep burning out? I purchased LED Canbus license plate and driving light bulbs for both my 2005 E500 and 2008 ML350 and after 1 month they start to flicker and eventually one by one start to burn out. I purchased the bulbs from www.discountleds.com
