PM Steve our sponsor at MBenzNL. He will give you precise requirements & prices if you want for the parts. It is certainly more than just changing the wheel. Once all modules & wiring are in place I believe it requires to be adapted with Star to get everything talking to one another.

Im pretty sure u need a cluster swap or at least a reprogram and some modules. The paddles only come w dynamic handling, I have them in my 11 c350 and my sport button is on dash. I only have a M button next to shifter, no S,C or E,S like normal cars. When I activate M the 1-7 gears show up where PRND usually are. I can paddle anytime and it shows those gears in single display like tiptronic mode. U will also need a harness of some sort too, there are extra wires for the paddles, not sure if they are in all cars as part of stock wiring and just active in optioned cars.

thanks for the reply looked at a uk forum last night and some posts claim that all euro w204 are pre wired but need activation with the scn codes you have to inform the car that paddle shift is available , i had this done last week it did not work ,so i decided to check the back of the airbag unit and the paddle cables were not connected, so back to the local service next week and try again, its all about trial and error ,plan B is that i have sourced a steering control module from a 220d auto that had paddle shift fitted and do a swap but looking at the connections of both modules they have the same number of connections thats" can bus "wiring for you.

Ask Steve - he knows the European models backwards being based in the Netherlands. You don't have to buy from him.
