Exclamation Help urgent:TC output shaft seal and front axle input shaft seal leaking

Hi Folks,
So yesterday i went to one of the best indy shops here in New England- EAS, waltham for a service and they told me that the TC shaft seal and front axle shaft seals were leaking and i better get it fixed.
Now, the best part is that they had caught the same issue in my previous oil change visit 5000K miles back and i had got it fixed from the dealer.
However, the indy shop thinks that nothing was done to my car.
Now, im suspecting if the MB dealer is scamming either it's customers or MB NA.
I dont know what to do next as my warranty will be expiring in about 5 months and i dont want to be stuck with a bad tranny after that.
Please advice wise people how do i proceed. I see another thread with cars (08 c300 w204) having bearing issue which caused the seal, shaft and the pump to fail etc.

Get the MBUSA area rep involved. That should force some honesty from the dealers & at least get your issues properly recorded with MBUSA.

the thing is i actually dont know if this is the seal, bearing or pump.
What if this or something related to this issue is caused later down the line when im out of warranty, will MB still honor to fix it? Should i buy extended warranty?

Do you have any noise at present? If not don't worry but get Benz to fix what is presently wrong & get it recorded. Benz USA is erratic with goodwill. If you have any real concerns buy a worthwhile extended warranty.

The SA came back saying that the TC gasket was bad and they'll replace it witha high temp seal. I asked if they will change the oil in the TC and they said yes but not the transmission fluid as these two fluids are separate as tranny and TC are separate components where their oils dont mix up.
Someone from the forum had mentioned to me that this warranty repair will also include a tranny service. So is it something i should push them to do before i get my car back?

The tranny & the TC are not separate units. Where the hell do your dealers find their techs

So the car was repaired by an MB dealer under warranty previously and now it's leaking again. Just take it back to the same dealer, show them the previous work order (you kept it, of course) and let them find the real cause of the leakage. The original warranty is still in effect so there should be no problem.

Since the original service writer lied to you about the different fluids, it might be a good idea to speak to the service manager first.

There is a procedure that if the Transfer Case is drained they are supposed to run the car up to 20mph & then recheck the transmission fluid level at the required temperature on latest 4Matics. It's all in the WIS.

What mileage has your car done & was the transmission serviced at 39K miles? If no service is due then the top up method is OK. If service is due they must do a complete fluid & filter change. This should be done EVERY 39K miles.

Did you check the U-Joints for smoothness through the full range of movement when you did the driveshaft work?
