I agree. And black out the emblems on the back or just take them off.

Also, I've never been a fan of the black on the bottom of our front bumpers under the lower grille. Just doesn't flow with the bumper. The 2012 bumpers...that's a different story. Clean car nonetheless!

I wish my car was silver.

Crazy, How do you do this? I want mine off but have been reluctant as I was afraid I would hurt the paint. Mine is a white C350.

Thx!

Get a hair dryer, goo gone (DO NOT USE GOOF OFF, MAKE SURE IT IS GOO GONE), and fishing line. Spray some goo gone and let it soak in the adhesive (6-8" at a time) then take your hair dryer and heat up that porting that you soaked for a little bit until the strip and area around it is hot to the touch. Then take your fishing line and slide it between the strip and the adhesive using a sawing motion. Continue this process until the strip is removed. There may be a strip of adhesive stuck to the car after the chrome strip is removed, just soak it more with goo gone, use a little more heat, and use your finger nail to get the rest of the adhesive off the paint. Once everything is all off, there may be some ghosting where the stripe used to be, simply wipe the surface clean until there is no oily residue, then use a soft terry cloth or micro fiber towel, and polish the area with some rubbing compound. The whole process took 45 minutes to an hour both sides.
