New C-300 Onwers! Couple of questions.
Hello guys! Got my first merc yesterday! its a c-300 sports package 4 MATIC 2011 model! really excited and its in black color.
had a couple of questions :
doesn't this model show the digital speed change along with the regular speed arrow ? because i have seen that on the newer models.
secondly i am connected my iPhone to the cord in the dashboard but i can't seem to play any songs on it..it only play radio and when i press CD it shows empty.
thanks for the help guys in advance!

to show the digital speed .. press up on the left hand side on the steering wheel. there alot of things there to play around with, its not just up.. left and right too.
for the iphone.. i think you have to put it in aux. i have to check.. im not sure on this

If its the same as the 2008...You use the command knob which is on the right hand side from the driver seat..By the arm rest "area" Press the knob down, after selecting disc, it'll show AUX option/ CD/ MP3 etc. So simply go to disc, Use the command knob and press down to get into the sub menu, click on disc, and itll show the option to use AUX

Ok here we go,
So press the Disc Button. The Disc screen should pop up, and on the bottom of that screen there will be CD Tracklist and Sound At the bottom of the screen, When you Grab the command knob and move it towards you (Towards the rear of the vehicle), the cursor should highlight the CD, TRACKLIST , AND SOUND sub menu, From there you should be able to maneuver through that sub menu, Thats when you press the command knob to the left, Highlight CD, Then PUSH DOWN on the command knob and it will show another menu, Allowing you the option to use your AUX.
Don't mean to insult your intelligence by the way I explained it, Just trying to be specific and as helpful as possible.

thank you guys. The you tube video shows the screen which pops out..my screen does not pop out...it remains inside the dash board. does that matter?

Also new owner of a 2011 C300 luxury model.
I have the Nav+4 and I have the 'audio streaming' capability which means, whether I play my music that's on my iphone or Pandora, it streams it via bluetooth. Not bad for quality.
However you don't get any details of the song playing. Do you have this option?
The other thing is what the others said. Use the Aux.

One thing I dont like about my car is the extremely short cable to plug the iphone. Which means the phone has to remain in the glove compartment .
