Hello, i unfortunately got in an accident being a dumbass. I was just looking to know your opinions of how much this would cost to be repaired. If you have any questions just ask.

Lets put it this way- the small dent and 3" scratch on my door was estimated at $700 not including rental for 3 days. To fix my mirror, b pillar and passenger window was $3800.
BTW- stick to drifting POS cars and not a new Mercedes.

10K is chump change so...
You also don't have to be a dick about it. It happens. Especially when you're younger.

If you are not worried about money- why are asking how much it will cost ? Just take it in and forget about it . You might want to check that attitude if you ever plan on receiving responses on this forum. I wasn't being a dick- but I will be now.

Unfortunately, the pictures do no justice. Your main concerns would be axle/frame damage.
Youth has nothing to do with stupidity, though you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at this.

You obviously are, try rereading that. How rude can you be?

$10k? If you are lucky maybe. Judging by how shredded that wheel is I wouldn't be surprised if you needed a new front end and that is if you can ever get it to align properly again because it doesn't look like it hit that curb straight on.

I'm sure my response wasn't what you wanted to hear and you're probably beating yourself up about it. So I'll let it go.
Sorry if I offended you, because affer rereading your initial post, I realized you did admit you did something stupid. I respect you for that.

Yeah, I saw the curb late and I slammed on the brakes and turned, and hit the curb pretty much sideways. I'm just glad there weren't people there or buildings or anything.

I foresee some pretty expensive damage man. It's unfortunate to have this happen.
I have fun drifting my C class. They're meant to be thrown around. I would have to say i don't think he was drifting though, since he has a 4M.

Despite everyone's best intentions, this will be hard to guess at from photos. A really good tech/adjuster will need to crawl around underneath to check all the suspension bits.
By the way, when this 58 year old was 17, I took an exit ramp too quickly and understeered into the outside curb...when I came to a stop in that old Firebird, it looked like the front left corner was bowing down. Lots of new suspension pieces, but the sheetmetal, being higher up, was untouched.

Ouch. Reminds me of when my younger brother got his driver licence (first day he got it, 16 year old). I let him take my C280 out for a ride and he called me crying 1 hour later to tell me he had wrapped the car around a power pole trying to go sideways on a rainy day. Good luck with the fix. surely it won't be cheap

I would like know what the damages are when you find out. I had a similar accident with a 2010 352I. Didn't look bad and even put the spare on and drove it to the dealer for the repair. My insurance company totaled it. I had bent the sub frame by hitting the curb.
Upon tear down the shop and adjuster found a bend in the floor board under the passenger seat. I was also glad my insurance company had "Accident forgiveness Clause or my premium would have tripled.
Good Luck.

Ouch!! I could not imagine the wheel being so destroyed without the car suffering some sort of frame damage, hard to tell from the pics but it looks like your front hit hard and I can't tell if it damaged radiator and such...
If 10k is chump change... Just hope the insurance totals it and cut your loses, get a new car.
Be safe on the road, it looks like this could of been a horrible story on the news instead of this post...
You are very lucky

The only reason the wheel is like that is because it hit the curb directly. My front end is not bad at all, the bumper has a tiny crack in it and that's about it. The left rubber fender thing got ripped out though so I don't know. The shop said it's fixable.
