Steering wheel removal instructions

Hey guys, I just bought a steering wheel that belongs to a 2012 C300, my car is a 2011, I need to get instructions on how to exchange them...or if you have better recommendations. I know I will have to take it to a MB dealer to get the airbag tested. Any website you know about that offer the steps?

Also, do you know if I can use the same airbag from a 2011 C300 steering wheel to a 2012? picture of both steering wheel are below. Thanks for your suggestions.

You wont be able to use your old air bag, their 2 different fitments, also it should be plug and play with no problem all you have to worry about is you need to take everything out with the key not being in the ignition, if you put the key in when you have pluged out the air bag, the srs error will come up but as long as you do everything with the key out you will be fine. After you plug in the wires everything is back together then you can turn on the car and you should be fine no need to go to the dealer, if you want to go to get it checked if you did everything you can just for your own safety

Good to know - thanks for the info bud!
These airbags aren't cheap, so I was hoping I could just use the same one I have, I guess that won't work. Are you in love with your C300? What year is yours? Sport or Luxury?

Today I went to the dealer to buy the airbag, these guys were trying to sell me one for $1500, f****** ridiculous!! Then the parts guy said it won't work because he thinks the airbag port for the 2011 steering wheel won't match the steering wheel I just bought, then he said it may not even fit, which is BS!
