First time Autocross in a C300

Below is a link to a youtube video a grad student, making a documentary on SCCA captured using a goPro attached to the hood of my car.

This is my first autocross, I'd happily welcome your constructive criticism on how I could improve my time.

Looks like fun but I think I'd prefer to attend a track day at a real track like Roebling Road Raceway, Palm Brach Raceway or Road Atlanta. These runs look too short and the course looks hard to follow.

Yeah, of four runs total, the first two involved me trying to learn the course. The final run I had the layout pretty much memorized.

The ESP was kind of lovely, since I could mash the gas as much as I wanted without losing control (too much). I did manage to get a few slides in, though. Even with the ESP on.

That is the distinct advantage between a physical track, and cones. Cones are much more forgiving when you hit them, can't say as much for a wall :/

Not bad for the first time. Could only hear it, but it sounded like you were plowing around the corners. If so, a modest rear bar size increase would help a bunch. But if you just wanted to try it, no mod's required.

Best to spend some time at auto-x to get the basics at $25 a pop, before hiitng the road course at high speed and hundreds of bucks.

Another round of ICE
I watched a couple of times, and the perspective is challenging. But, it seems you are not hitting the apexes in a couple of locations, but are wide at those points. Did they walk you through the course first to note the apex locations? Driving it to learn it doesn't work as well as walking it to be able to stand there and see the line you want to take.
