Considering many things such as how she was already at almost a 45 degree angle to exit the driveway, you may want to re-label the clip to "why you shouldn't slam you car so low it becomes impractical".

You would never even make it around the block in my 'hood, without losing the front bumper completely.

Look on the bright side, it's for LOVE right?

The stock Sport trim is already too low for my preference. After having two loaner Lux trims, I think I'm going that route next time. Much better ride and not a very noticeable difference in handling. Looks a bit plain, though.

Too bad many modern car users are a slave to trends & fashion that take away the practical comfortable use of a vehicle & lower the value .

whenever my wife drives my c-class 100% guaranteed there will be a nasty scratch on the under belly of the front bumper from concrete curbs found on parking lots. It became a habit for me to wet sand it and touch it up with a paint pen that I got to do that in 10 min. every time she returns the car to me. First 3 times she scrapped the bumper I scream at her reminding her that the car is low and to watch out for the curbs but ladies are ladies and I don't want to sleep at the coach so I just have to murr-murr and swear at inner self this happens. Lucky for you she is still your GF and you still can kick her out for scraping the ride for me it is not an option or should I say I dare to do that I will be the one to be kicked out. Funny as I try to find an excuse for her not to drive the car every time she ask for the keys and always give her the GLK or B-class keys instead.

Well the V12 was even lower, but never ran into anything on the streets of San Diego or Vegas. Curbs & parking lots - the lower air dam was made of soft vinyl rubber, so it only got deformed, not scrunched like the W204. Maybe MB should take a note?

Agree with LILBENZ230 about the ride and the height of the Luxury (wait... is that the sound of lots of FLACK coming in?), but the aluminum or black-wood trim of the Sport, plus the Sport grill, stole my heart. Will propose to the local MB dealer to look for a Luxury customer that wants to lower his ride, and maybe we can swap shocks and springs.

Luckily I have bought my wife a W203, she likes that one a lot better because she doesnt have to be as careful with curbs and other hazards
