Phone contacts sync issue
Hi guy,
ok so I did a bit of research and no luck so posting it here
I have a 2008 Merc C350 and a Samsung S4.
On my S4 I have my phone to sync with my google account. In my google account I have a group set up as Cellphone and all my numbers are in there. Display's fine on my phone.
On my BMW the phonebook did sync fine. On the Merc I can't get the car to Sync the numbers.
The phone is set up via bluetooth and I did try to import it via the vcards option. Seems to work but if I do that then it wants to import all 4 million of my contacts lol (it takes all the email address from my google account as well which I don't care about.
I would prefer if the car can just take my phonebook as displayed on android and show it in the car but just can't seem to get it like that

Hi man,
well only way I managed to get contacts on there is to import it. I created a .csv file for all my contacts (All my contacts is being synced from my gmail account) and then I did send the .csv file to my car via bluetooth. It imported all the numbers but the stupid thing now is that if I add a number it's not on my car's phonebook I can't see that this is the only way because my old BMW was designed better than this

Yea I did that and mine didn't download all my contacts. Only about 100 and then said full but there's no other data in. But give it a go and let me know. Perhaps I should just format mine

ok, i just finished the business card transfer. but it only took 183 of 527 contacts. i have several contacts that are email addresses only, so that may account for the lost information. i would need to check some names to see what phone numbers were lost. if i figure it out, i'll keep you posted.

I set my phone to only display Google and Facebook contacts. But when you sync it does sync all of them and then it shows that it wants to sync a few thousand (coz of all the contacts I have in google but it's also without numbers and just email accounts.)
I have about 450 numbers but mine also stopped somewhere at the 180's I think.
